Is it terrible? I haven't logged in or looked at anything. Id imagine so, but not sure if you're sarcastic or not :(
The normal draco gifts are pretty much useless. The shells you get for the broken ones can be turned in for items that are, at this point, mostly useless. Or you can gamble 50 shells at a time for mostly nothing, or occasionally another egg or a gift.
The shiny gifts, which you have a MUCH lower chance of getting, will give you venir stage 1's for 99% of the time you open them, then like .5% of the time an elcy powder or crystal, and then the other .5% is spread among everything else in the list, weighted with increasingly less chance of course the more valuable the item is.
The lynn drago gift box you're lucky if you get one every few thousand eggs open, and you're probably going to get a GEWR if you open it.
So, TLDR yes worthless. The eggs are barely worth selling, so spending ncoin on them (on Chronos at least) is nothing like the last few events. You'd have to press your luck and hope for a good number of shiny giifts to make decent money.
Pretty simple to work out. You notice last events that were 100% Nstore items. This meaning they will reward you. As this is a free for all i am guessing they will make it a pointless one. I would also imagine the management over at NC are a sick of adena sellers making money on their turf.
If u check the website they will cancel them dropping but still sell at store. Maybe then the rewards will be worthwhile. I wouldn't put it past them to have a better reward for purchased with Ncoins than dropped from mobs. The whole game is just a big business/scam. Old L2 died years ago.
Would be nice to see % from bought event items to dropped items tho :P but yeah, kinda crappy events recently for the normal player. This is proof they dont care about all the players and only a select amount that buy buy buy. Get used to it, they will push boundaries to see what our limit is and for some real nerds there is none. Win Win for them haha
