What u think bout 1h sword n shield? Would the shield defense be worth it for the loss of what little dps u get wit the dualswords? I got health wit my dualswords. Sometimes i feel like iss shouldnt be considered melee dds. N just got full robes n staff lol

doubt there are many ISS with robes & staff lolz..

ISS with 1H Sword/Blunt (Tauti Axe) & Shield is a fine option but it's really up to your own preference :)

I dont think anyone actually considers them DDs.

I dont consider em dds at all, just buffers n specialists at decent debuffs, they should have more debuffs i think. Also i dont agree wit the 1h blunt cuz it dont have health sa. I think extra hp is key, iss is a survivalist from what playin iss domi taught me, divine cancel, seal of blockade when it lands n shockin blow is good ****. N im sure wit +15 con the shield defense would work considerably more.

I would have to agree with Draecke. It depends on how you want to play your ISS as.

For example, I have duals and tauti axe with shield. on certain classes i use the tauti axe with shield. While most of the time I am using my duals (Health and Haste SAs).

S-grade duals (tallum*dark legion)are not bad with passive reflect and +12+++ enchant, but versus tank, wynn or healer you will need something with more p. atk

Sword and shield i never tried, maybe low grade sword OE with passive reflect if you are not so rich for tauti …

I just love my reflect lol :D

Keep in mind to get that augment, you may have to spend a lot of adena just to get it. I have heard from people it only took them three tries, while other spend over 5 bil adena to get that augment when it was 1 adena removal fee.

Yes It is hard…i also heard some people get it easy, one try on r99duals or others who spend over 5b…, but i was quite lucky with just 600kk (1956LS)that is not so much.

Is tauti axe r99 or just r grade? Cuz im only lvl 90 at the moment,im not fortunate enough to spend billions of adena on stuff. Just kinda foresight of what the future has to offer in the higher lvls

Tauti Axe or Tauti weapons are R grade. Depending on your server that could range from 18 bil or higher to buy.

I would go for weapon you could afford with for now.

One handed sword and shield.
Unless you're gonna shell out 30b to be a damage dealer on your iss.

Of course in olympiad etc it will be different, but seeing as you're 90 and wont have to think about that for a long time, go with sword and a shield.
