Skill Enchant

General Discussion Started Last reply 14 posts
Would like to have a clarification from the GMs on this matter:

On Patch notes:
Maximum stage of skill enchantments has been raised higher than stage 10.
o Infinite Odyssey Update has raised it up to stage 20.

But Juji posted:
...
Superior Giant's Codex Chapter 2 - for +21~+30
Immortal Scroll Chapter 2 - for +21~+30
...

So what is the maximum???
On Korea they removed the 21-30 skills. Here we still have it???

This is a serious issue so please clarify it for us.

I think Yidao say they in korea in after infinity some extra update coming up range from max 20 to max 30. When this will implement here we not know...
I said that in Korea the +30 enchants were already in game (to be precise, from August 20 (http://www.inven.co.kr/webzine/news/?news=116844&site=lineage2) to August 27, 2014), but were removed later:

The Codices are programmed into the client (as you can see from our event rewards), and the developers have certainly not deleted all back-up copies of the +21~+30 enchantment values. So while skill enchantment to +30 might not be possible right now, chances are that this idea will make a reappearance in the future. It has not been implemented in the so-far rolled-out Korean updates though ("The New Guardian of Astatine" and "Hymn of the Soul"). Nevertheless I would recommend to keep any +30 Codices you might get as reward from the event. Even though some ideas like for example the Ixion Combat Suits (http://tellier.iiens.net/l2/ixion/) never were implemented in a live version, the +30 skill enchantment is too handy a way to drain adena from the servers, so I guess we can wait for it :)

I have read this on forums so many times, I would like to drain that adena in my favor. As legal player I have no adena, while same people have tons of it. As this people just use bots to get it, and we are going to have bots even if mobs drop 1 adena, would be nice to just look into the database for this players, and what they do, instead of nerfing and nerfing encoraging more and more real players.
Deleting the accounts of excessively rich players would indeed be a viable approach to solving the inflation problem. Unfortunately NCsoft chooses not to do that. If living in abject povertymakes you unhappy, I can only recommend you to play a different game. From what I hear, in World of Warcraft or Diablo it is relatively easy for the average player to get basic gear :)

That would imply that an inflation was happening on NCWest servers. That is clearly not the case.
Billions of adena for a middling weapon is what many people would consider as inflation, especially keeping in mind that in the early Chronicles 10 million was a real lot of money :)
Don't know what server you playing, but at least in Magmeld you only pay bilions on r99 weapons. (or OEd weapons that are as good as this r99 weapons)
And is easy to find this r99 weapons below the bilion mark.

And what i would call inflation is an increase of money (in this case adena) on the market causing prices to go up.
I'm pretty sure that's not the case in NCWest, in fact looking for the small servers market i would say we have a very serious deflection. And going on topic, if this +21 - +30 enchants are possible, it would make the deflection worst.

Tax the rich. Give to the poor.
Giving to the poor would only redistribute the problem. Kill the rich and burn their estates! Wealth must be annihilated! You only get a stable society when everybody is equally poor!

Red Khmer ideology aside, you would be amazed at how much socialism there is in South Korea. NCsoft, for example, is via the National Pension Service 7% state-owned:

:D

@ BurnCycle:
I am playing on Naia :)

The deflation you observe is working as intended. That's the purpose of the exercise. The developers will only stop adding adena sinks when the Auction House prices for equipment have dropped to slightly above crystal value. That's what they are objectively worth and that's how the prices for low-grade equipment in the NPC-run Weapons & Armor Shops were set when the game was originally developed :p

That will never happen, as I say, even if mobs drop 1 adena bots will be ingame, so now let's say I'm close to 200 million, while this players are close to 20 billion (probably more). If they keep nerfing, normal people will be close to 20 million, while botters will remain close to 20 billion again.

The problem is not the adena dropped by mobs, or the adena you could get selling enchants (in the past) from quest, or the adena some quest gives, the problem is that bots exist, and nerfing will not fix this.
Considering juji already said some codexs were for 21-30+, one could assume we can enchant to 30+..

The patchnotes is simply a translation of the korean patchnotes, so if we're supposed to have this and they are not, its not going to show in the patchnotes.
Problem the Game not have new players who need new gear (normal or OP). I think the more of 95% of all who actual play every day in server's have main char in 99+ lvl and more of 50% of them have dual class also in 99+. In time what they up 99 they have all gear/weapons what they need so no1 need new items r/r95/r99 to invest in that. All what they need is just ssr/bssr and price of that is also lol because all have crystals from OE items what they not may sell (as I say no1 buy new clean/gear weapons). Economy is stupid this months from no new players. All others who up alts for some reason just transfer items from other chars.

This is a serious issue so please clarify it for us.The dev team added the Chapter 2 skill enchanting items to the event rewards. You have the same probability to receive Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 codexes. The +21-30 skill enchant function exists, but is not turned on yet. It will be available in the future.
