After being given a 1 week notice to migrate my account or have it deleted I hurried up and logged on. Looked around... Didn't see anything about "migration" so I figured maybe my account was good? Fast forward a month, pretty sure it was deleted. So much for L2 then. I had so much fun in this game. I hate what you did with it, but always figured Jetta would last until you pulled the plug. Guess it was cruel to keep her on life support this long anyways.

Not really die. Just make a new account and keep it going. Hi! this is my new account. Restarting a new "toon" ain't no thing because I don't play the game. I just wring my hands and laugh like a bad spy movie villain while watching posters whine about NCSoft stuff. rohahahahahaha or is it trolololololo or trohuehuehuehue.
I'm just being overly dramatic because I didn't feel like waiting on an 8 gb patch. Characters still there. Still, deleting people's old accounts is crossing a line for MMOs.
The account migration period was on going for over a month and a few reminder emails were sent out prior to our extended maintenance last week. Do you log in game with an email? If yes, then you should be fine.
I log with my mail but my character is not there or was deleted for stupid migration,but is funny if i want create new toon with my original nick name,say my name is in use,how could this happend if i made it 3 years ago when l2 come free.....if feel sad lost all work i made xp to get 98 take many hours,days,months,for 0,01 xp on one day,craft R95 set and weapons,close to craft all set eternal in my wh....and now i need start all over again....no thx...take me 3 years made it....It is disrespectful to all players who come from NCsoft playing 10 years and the excuse is free to play ........

The entire account, all my equipment, and the stuff I fought so hard for for all those years. 10 Billion adena down the tubes because I wasn't able to log in for a couple weeks. Been having video card issues, havent' been on, even though it was 11th anniversary.
Happy anniversary NCSoft, thousands of hours of my time wasted. I cannot even begin to describe how much I hate this game now. The most irresponsible action I have seen in a long time. Shame on you, unbelievable.

NCSoft is making a simple statement as far as I can tell. Kill the game.

Totally agree, there are people been playing for 10 years and paid every month to play using your credit card, NCsoft that made free to L2? by losses of money in your company? that has to pay the consequences people who accept the terms and conditions, any user could sue the company quietly legal action.

people come and go, play now and then, you really delete characters? you cant figure out how to migrate give them a dummy name to fix when they log in like you did your first merger 8 years ago?
