SA crystals

In the past, we could trade the adventurer's marks (received while hunting in certain zones) for SA crystals, at the adventurer guildsman inside instances. But those marks are not given anymore. So, how are we supposed to get new SA crystals now? Someone told me to buy in the auction house, but what when those are gone? How do new players get SA? Anyone knows?

if they don't drop from raidbosses, then expect them to show up in the NCStore and NCStore events. New way to put SA on weapons is rumored to show up at the next big update. And we all know how often those roll out, 8 months is the record.

You are not supposed to get new SA crystals. As has been mentioned before, the SA system will be fundamentally changed in "Hymn of the Soul (http://boards.rochand.com/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=1473&p=31071#p31066)", one of the next updates. The problem with this are not the already applied SAs - those will be simply renamed (Health -> Body, Haste -> Fury ...) - but the loosely floating around Soul Crystals. While on the PTS those were simply deleted, in the live version Soul Crystal Exchange Vouchers (집혼석 교환권) were given out:

Nothing is known about the exchange rate, but it will certainly not be fair. Apparently no Soul Crystals above Stage 5 exist on the Korean servers (at least no screenshots have been posted), so you will definitely lose out in the exchange process. In order to reduce unhappiness, the developers are deliberately phasing out the old Soul Crystals months before the update. No Soul Crystals for nobody.

If you feel that you need a weapon with SA, I would strongly recommend to take a break from the game, enjoy the summer, and return at the end of this year. We should get "Hymn of the Soul" some time around Halloween ~ Christmas:

As long as we don't know the exchange rate provided by those Soul Crystal Exchange Vouchers, it's hard to give advice. Maybe Juji could ask his colleagues in Seoul when he next contacts them?

As I wrote above, the striking thing when you look at the bragging screenshots of overenchanted weapons on the NCKorea forum (http://lineage2.plaync.com/board/image/list) is that there is not one SA of Stage 6 or higher:

So if I had to guess, you will maybe get five new Stage 1 Soul Crystals for one old R-Grade Soul Crystal and then it's up to you and your luck to upgrade those Stage 1 Crystals. I have no idea how the sub-R-Grade Soul Crystals are compensated, like for example the Stage 14 ones you get from the 3rd Class Change Quest. At the moment there is an uninterrupted stream of Dark Elf Mages, the future Phantom Summoners, on Talking Island. Maybe the botters have some information that you actually get something for those quest reward Soul Crystals and now run literally thousands of bots to lvl 76???

But that's pure speculation. In any case, the update is still several months away. "Hymn of the Soul" went live in Korea on April 1; this should give you an idea about the time frame. My guess would be that in the next few months prices for Soul Crystals will be rising, so if you need adena, now would be a good time to sell your stash. If it is true that with the Exchange Vouchers you can't get beyond Stage 5, holding on to your old Soul Crystals, which are in their effects equivalent to the new Stage 5s (HP +25% etc.), would not make much sense. On the other hand, if the lack of Stage 6+ screenshots is just a statistical coincidence (Koreans don't post that many screenshots any more), then you might give away a chance at a Stage 6+ Soul Crystal which will give you better effects than what you can get now.

In the absence of further information I really can't help you there :(

Yidao, I guess you give us a good idea atm.

Who is the only one who actively operate in the west and in Korea? Chinese farmer companies. So probably if they farm somewhere actively, there is something what can result in the present or in the near future good Adena incoming.

Did you hear anything about the Masterwork weapons and armor sets between B to S80 grade? I did read on Korean site, that Neolithic Crystals will disappear.

But what will the exist Masterwork weapons or mainly with the Masterwork Armors are they remain and will still craftable?

Still one question to someone who has information. I did see, that numerous type of SA available from the next update to weapons. But can you change which one, you want to install it first.
If not, is it possible to know, what we can get on Stage 1-2-3-4-5... etc?

I have no information about existing Masterwork items losing their bonuses or new Masterwork items no longer being craftable. But since in Korea there are basically no players below lvl 99, this can not be verified:

Yes, you can change an applied SA to a different SA for a moderate Gemstone fee:

A Stage 5 Soul Crystal in "Hymn of the Soul" gives the same effect as the current Soul Crystals, Stages 1~4 give less and Stages 6~8 give more. How much less or more they give is not known.
