viable to use 2h melee s84 wep for pve?

hi guys well my question is this, ive been thinking on using devilish maul and try to make it +6 or something, the thing is i dont know if its worth it, cuz the pet dmg will be higher ofc but i think it will make my marks, invoke and overall nukes weaker, since marks are a great addition in pve i dont want to loose those for like 400+ dmg on pets, btw im currently using apoc retri, if someone has some feedbacks or tried this already let me know

I use R grade retributer with Acumen and Empower and it's awesome.

If you think like me, i.e. you do use marks as part of your damage and rotation, go for fast cast and wizard dmg.

And because the huge distance between S84 weapon and R grade weapon, It's hard for me imagine that an OE S84 > +3 R grade weapon with SA.
