I want to hear what everyone thinks about Cost effectiveness for All the gears in Lineage2.
For the sake of argument, let's say it's PvE gear. For example, when comparing having no talisman vs Annihilation, I can feel the big difference when there is Annihilation Talisman and when there isn't one, especially with AOE leveling. But between Annihilation and Longing....I feel little better with Longing but other than the visual effect, not much different. Little things add in L2 but when considering Annihilation = 550m and Longing = 6 billion(on average), I wonder if it's really worth the money.
Same thing with R-grade apo-bow. I had +4 300 holy 2SA Apo-bow and then upgraded it to +8 300 holy 2SA BLESSED Apo-bow. my bow was shinnier and all that, but for Level 85-95, my Level was more important than my weapon I felt like. +4 bow = 500-600 mil, +8 Blessed bow = 2.5-3 billion...so did I kill 5-6 times faster and level 5-6 times faster??? I DON't THINK SO! +8 blessed bow was better but not 5-6 times better...
I want to ask Level 99 players about what you think about +4, +7, +12
weapons for high level PvE. Is +12 Bloody worth every adena? or is it something you get when you have SO~Much~Adena to burn~and don't know what to do with it? what about +6 or +8 Bloody set? I realize I can have basic LvL99 set-up with 10Bil Adena, or it can go over 100Bil if I want
elite set-up like +12 Bloody bow, +8 armor set, Blessed Anthras, EarthWorm ring, ++ etc.
Concerning the Investing for Gears, What is the point of diminishing return for Lineage2 if there is one?
Enchanting Blessed/Bloody/Dark Items increase it's stats by 50% more then standard equipment. Enchanting R99 is receiving more boosts on certain enchant levels. +4/7/10 /13/16. M.Atk Example.
Standard incr. M.Atk with on each enchant.
1-3=5
4-6=10
7-9=15
10-12=20
13-15=25
+15 total is 225 M.Atk boost.
Blessed/Bloody/Dark incr. M.Atk with on each enchant.
1-3=8
4-6=16
7-9=24
10-12=32
13-15=40
+15 total is 360 M.Atk boost.
Enchanting PvE Weapons is definately worth is. P.Atk wise the boost is bigger each weapon then the M.Atk example I have given. I hope this answers your question. I always said myself for PvE +7 for Mage and +12 for physical is just perfect.
You have to ask yourself if Bloody Set is worth the extra Adena for slightly more P.Atk boost and resist versus PC. I would say +12 PvE Thrower and Standard +8 Set is just fine and worth the Adena. Especially when farming Dim Warp. In the future can always go Dark if you start to PvP.
+8 Set give Skill Cooldown -10% on Light is a must. PvE Thrower +12 gives substantial DPS plus increase to PvE by another 15% I think it was.
Over-enchanting is for when you have all the other stuff and nothing to do with your adena.
Over-enchanting is also insanely addictive and produces more adrenaline than PvP. I literally had to "walk it off" after I got done making Lv 4 Brooch gems. I was shaking. I never OE things, but gems are bound so I had to. I see why people dump thousands into it. What a rush!
the stats yo uget from your items are the basics, then the buff are making you stronger, and class specific cooldowns even more
when you stack all that you can see the big difference between +4 and +12
things are possible to be made by the cheaper way, or the expensive
the only question is - how long would you use that item
because +8bles apo won`t be used much longer than +8 amaranthine
if you want to make cost efficient char don`t focus on the cheap stuff always, because when you repeat the attack/skills over and over again yuo will lose time, which in my honest oppinion is the most expensive thing we have

You have good point. It's how long I will be using a certain gear setup that matters the most. However, I was wondering more about what will be the good enough and decent damage OE set-up for R99 Gears. Minimum requirement to be a good DD I'd say...but I think Bennie above has answered my question. Anyways, thnx for the thought though!
