then still destroying the tank class in 3 zones remains Ntssoft makes game for people who clearly can not play some easy kills others?this is not fair to a class that is not known with nothing much p, m + def def one tirr who returned to life and makes 10+ DPS has more def, what is the tank in this game then? a scarecrow?I sincerely hope and pray Ncsoft to review it because it apparently violated and without missing balance.or why not reduce the DPS of all fighters to see how it will affect them?after class tank is damaged harmed all!!! How come you can't just post the hungry horse event detail before the event goes live? Do you realize that most days, the servers are up for hours before the event details are released?

Since quite some time Events are only worth if you spend your NCoins directly at the Maintenance day or the day after.
Once that time passed the reward rate for good drops goes far below 0,1%.
I could not play l2 before Friday, but i still wanted to try the event.
After like 400 packs i got only crap. Best reward been a Freya Bottle.
Talked with some ppl and all have the same experience. Someone used about 2500 packs since Friday.
His total reward, if also crafted with Fragements, been 4x Freya Bottle, 3x Orfen, 1x AQ, 1x Vala Bottle.
He couldnt even complete a Anthy or Vala Bottle via Fragments.
On the other hand i know players that got Kelbim, Tauti etc. during the first and second day with way lesser packs.
So i demand to hear why rates get nerfed, why there is no Information about. Event rates should be the same the whole time.
Also there should be a list of Chances of each Item to get after like 100 or 1000 tries.

I got Nothing, zero, zilch, noll, nada, most valueable item(s) being 30 baium soul fragments, aka not very valueable at all.
Then i know a friend who opened 1 pack (lol) last night, note that it was a long time after maintenance, and got a Frintezza bottle.

People go "all in" on the event when they can, most of the time this is on maintenance day the moment they login, just think about it.
Thus there is a larger chance atleast someone wins a nice item, compared to a week later when there are maybe 20 times less people participating in the same scale.

That would be really low though if a company programatically lowered the drops after the first few days though. Honestly I wouldn't put it past some companies more interested in money than its players.
So with the tin foil hat off, It's really just luck. I opened 100 of them and got nothing. My wife opened 50 of them right after I did and got 3 dual stat hats.

Precisely how I believe it works. I think its best to try on day 1 only because everyone else is trying on day 1.
NPC Galup will no longer be in game:
Maphr's Wind Scroll, Galup's Special Luck Pouches, Carrots, Carrot Pouches, and Entrance Pass: Kartia's Labyrinth (Hungry Horse version only) will be removed from inventories.
Can NCsoft consider keeping the Maphr's Wind Scrolls in circulation after the September 2nd maintenance? Freya's Frozen Scrolls are also still in circulation after it's Event. I personally like it better this way. BusterCasey you can ask the Team if this is possible?

only need to update client for spending ncoin/events...if toons dont do that, maybe they have a reason for it...qq...like just got back from vacation or dont want to update till some guinea pigs say all is ok...
i`ll tell you my experience
wednesdays whyle i`m at work the servers are shut down for maintenance, which in most of the cases ends before i come back or few mins after that
and i just click ok then log in
why should i update anything since i have 2 games running and i just need to log in
now, if i see that there will be new event, or update i`ll do that
for standard maitenance w/o gg improvement or bug fixes i don`t see a problem with not updating the client
on the other hand, when there is an update and i have games running i don`t see the update button, but play one
3-rd and most important is that i never had problems with launching the game (win 7 ultimate 64bit)

I am really, really disappointed in how long this Event lasts. The same Event lasted only 14 days last year. How come a Epic Jewelry based Event lasts so long? It really does not make sense! The market is flooded with Soul Bottles of all types. I mean literally flooded. We are now at a point where Queen Ant is 200 million (previously 1 billion) and Frintezza 400 million (previously 1,5 billion). It is dropping 10 million every day. I am also frustrated that we have now more Soul Bottles on the market then standard epic jewelry to put them on.
Why we play this Game? To buy Items from the L2 Store? Stop farming Epics the regular way it supposed to be? I think this Event messed things up big time this time. I did not expected this many Soul Bottles to flood the market. I personally never saw this many Soul Bottles on the market. 3 pages of Antharas Soul Bottles!? Really OMG!

I agree with your lasts two posts, this event (and previous ones) have been plain ridiculous, i do not understand their logic.
Feels like they are trying to lower the prices of every item to kill the RMT business to get rid of the bots in a "safe way".
OR they are getting rid of the bots so the game is no longer profitable, thus having to close it down, looking at how the game has been managed for the past few years this option would honestly not surprise me. :o
PS. I still have not gotten my tauti weapon, everyone get nice stuff but me ;-;
