1-Slot Hair Acc vs. 2-Slot Hair Acc

Hi I really don't get this. Why is there a need for 2-Slot Hair Accessories to be introduced at all?

I'm not talking about the integration of pendants. With 1-Slot Hair Accessories, I can enchant twice, I can augment twice. Obvious advantage over 2-Slot Accessories. And yet, most of your fashion hair accessories are 2-Slot! Why are you indirectly forcing players to choose between combat effectiveness/performance and style/looks? Why can't we stylize our characters while remaining effective? This seems like a really stupid choice for players to make. Warrior Helmet is 2-Slot. "Oh this is only cosmetic", so do you mean I should only wear the Warrior's Helmet while inside town? On the field it's back to double-party mask. Hair Accessory Appearance Stones only work on items with the same number of slots. Ninja Mask/Samurai Helmet stones only work on 2-Slots.

What function does the 2-Slot serve? Why not just retro-change ALL bloody accessories in the game back to 1-Slot, so that appearance stones work on one type. Do you forsee any adverse effect in doing this? if u r worried about design/visual incompatibility, just make the top accessory override the bottom one, much like how appearance stones work for one-piece body armor. if u think wearing 2 x hair accessories is too OP, then just reduce the equipment panel to accommodate only one head-accessory slot.

I see newer 'appearance sets' like Dark Assassin/Knight now comprise of 1 stone, which encompasses both your character's body and head. That may seem to solve the fashion issue of wearing 2 x +3 Augmented Party Masks, but it removes the choice of showing a different type of helm/mask from the body. And what about the slightly older sets? Assassin-type (1-piece set) was introduced JUST SHORTLY after Samurai (2-piece set) was introduced. Seemed like the design team made a lightning correctional + improvement move, but then refused to 'clean up the older shy.te' behind them. They could have changed ninja/samurai to 1-piece as well, but they didn't. As a result, the current hair accessory system is just like many other parts of the game now- frankenstein. Come on man, have some consistency ...
In the meantime you have two options:
1. Turn of Hair accessories from displaying.
2. Get a beauty shop make-over. It overrides hair accessories.

So if you don't like your Cat Ears + Party Mask, you can prevent it from displaying or mask it with a Fuchsia mohawk.
(My personal) resultant display was not really the issue. I was questioning why they keep introducing new fashion accessories as 2-Slot, when wearing two 1-Slot accessories is clearly better. If they were introduced as 1-Slot, I could assimilate that particular look while being effective.

Yes some beauty shop options for certain races do look good to me.
Statistically a 2 slot hair accessory gives more PDEF with the +6 special bonus than two 1-slot +6 accessories.

With standard buffs it was ~230pdef.
On the field it's back to double-party mask

Wait, we can wear 2 different 1-slot hair accessories at the same time, each with their own stat (patk, str, etc..)? I was under the old assumption only 1 hair accessory with a stat would work, while the other will have no effect! Maybe I missed an update? Could someone confirm?

But I agree with a lot of what you said...some of the "cosmetic" hats that are part of appearance sets should be able to get stats, as well as the warrior helmet..noblesse tiaras...castle tiaras, etc.. I REFUSE to wear a party hat or some other stupid looking novelty item on my head, regardless of the stats it gives, because IMO it kills the medieval type look of fighters in various armors etc.. Also, I couldn't wear one, and turn off the hair accessory option to display because isn't that just for the user's view? Wouldn't everyone else still see me running around in cat ears, even though I can't see them? Same as turning cloaks on and off.

Only the first hat effect applies including the augment
Only the first hat effect applies including the augmentAh ok thanks...was hoping I didn't miss something all this time ;-)

hm, i was sure that:

different augments stack
and even same augments stack if got different numbers=different passives
Hi Brosh, no I meant u can wear 2 accessories and enchant and augment on each, but as for pendants (the stats u said), u can only do on one. some 1-piece accessories occupy top-slot by default; after u add a pendant, the slot it occupies switches to the bottom slot. so for party mask for eg. its default is top-slot occupation, therefore u can still wear a non-pendant party mask on top. Other 1-Slot masks like cat ears, by default already occupies the bottom-slot, no change after u add a pendant. means u can't wear cat ears(top)/cat ears(bottom) but u can wear party mask(top)/cat ears(bottom).

However, I was not aware of what diego said: 2-slot acc get more bonus per enchant? In that case, to me this increases the value of 2-slot accessories a bit, but there is still the fact that u can augment twice on 2 x 1-slot acc, so I think it really depends which type of bonus you are looking for.

For 2 x 1-slot accessories I got +5 Speed(Top)/+10 Speed(Bottom), but I am trying for +10/+10. However the cash sinks in GoD are really overwhelming and I am not sure if I can sustain this expenditure for long while attempting. 6.9m to remove augment, I finished half a bil in under 5 minutes, getting only crap augments.

So anyway imagine u have a full set of ninja appearanced armor. if u want to wear a matching ninja mask, u have to use the stone on a 2-slot, and so wearing 2 x 1-slot acc is not an option for u. same with samurai helmet app. This is what I am asking NC to reconsider. Should abolish the 'Only works for 2-slot accessories' requirement to allow for greater flexibility and diversity in players' fashion choices. You can appearance 1-piece breastplate as a 2-piece or 1-piece body, so why not apply the same to hair acc? If they r afraid of visuals for top masks & bottom masks clashing, then make the top one override the bottom one for display, like how breastplate appearanced as one-piece armor covers the gaiters.

Some nice old school 1-slot accessories which occupy Top-Slot :-

-Red Party Mask (Cannot Add Pendant). I don't mean Mask of Spirits.
-Raid Circlets (Cannot Add Pendant). very tedious to get. When u eventually get a box, it has a high % of giving the result "there was nothing found inside". if u do get something, it's usually Raid Challengers', maybe Raid Adventurers'. Raid Masters' is extremely rare.

Can u think of more? only these 2 come to my mind atm lol
