Tauti 2h Still Viable in IO?

Assuming pure PvE, is a Tauti 2h and +8 light set as good (or better) than Retri and Robes?

IMO it's inviable.

Tauti 2h has a insane ptack but low mtack and nowadays you need mtack as well.

At chronos you can buy a Tauti 2h for 8b~10b. For that price you can buy an excelent R99 Retributer 1/2 SA ++

You should only use Tauti 2h IF you have a Tyrr as main or sub... and of course, if you have a Tauti 2h your Wynn is not your priory class.

Pure PvE wise Tauti 2h is the cheapest and best weapon you can have for wynn, I've read that topic so many flaws clearly most of them doesn't know how wynns work but one caught my eye is that one guy saying pve retri+12 with p crit damage PASSIVE augment is the best, half yes half no yes pve retri+12 onwards is the best pve wise but if people doesn't know passive augments from weapons doesn't translate to pets so ye my just my 1 Dollar :)

But partially, @iArsenal is right. Afaik, augments bonus dont transfer directly to servitors, so even if one wynn manages to get the +15% p. crit dmg one, the pets themselves will only get 15% of the total base stat from master.

And I bet those +15% wont increase much, since we r talking about mage-type archetypes here, but playing melee warrior route. It's the same what occurs to healers increasing hp via CON dyes: although he might get a good chunk of HP, it wont be nearly as good as if when a tank/tyrr or iss'd be running with those CON dyes. The HP scalated will be low by a huge margin, in disfavor of the healer - again, a mage-base archetype playing with warrior stuffs (in this case, the dyes).

Back on topic's matter, the simple answern would be tauti 2h blunt, but surely a OE PvE retri with a good combo of augments + SA (since you can pick w/e works your playstyle, instead of the static tauti's ones - rly, what wynn would want haste as SA?) would surpass it by far, we must not forget that after 99+ wynns get insane dmg working along with nukes + marks, too.
