Something is wrong with buying Ncoins. System allows to buy in euro currency, before only USD was allowed. It is normal after update or is it wrong? Second, for any amount of coins i want to buy, when i reach final stage it charges me 10 times the amount. For example, for 8000 coins instead of 100 euro it charges me 1000. Check it plz

I do not understand how a Company that is based in the USA and got all physical web/server addresses in the USA change currency from $ to €. They are a USA Company not a European Company? They are scamming you for more money and pick the most strongest currency. I wonder how L2 Europe will feel about this knowing NC West changed to main European Currency. All without any Physical Offices or Servers being located within the boundries of European Union. GL on that NC West. You will now also sell Timecards in USA Stores for €25? It make no sense. It is even impossible law wise. All NCoins are being sold from USA registered domain.com. Think again ... Competition versus L2 EU? I thought I was playing on the American Server of L2? What is next namechange Company from US West to EU West? WTF. I refuse to get robbed this way. I'd rather spend Euros on the real European Servers. Boycot and stop spending NCoins next months I would say.
I am a very angry Customer now. I spended alot last 6 months. This is a way to say thank you and get lost? I am really disappointed now.

Actually, if you, the customer are not physically in their store/office, then by presumption you have to pay in your local currency and pay VAT of the same rate as in your country.
Actually when they went to US dollar only, they were breaking the international law, because most of the ppl weren't getting any VAT added to the final value of the purchase, which in legal terms is called tax avoidance and if escalated will lead to lots of problems for NC.

They do not require a buy in from other Companies in order to create one virtual Code. Physical Goods do. Digital Goods do not. In this Case Digital Currency exchange is far away from being called Goods. It is a Service which allow you to exchange irl currency for virtiual currency in order to buy non physical virtual item in their servers.
Why do you think Amazon have a different domein name for every country. Always noticed the .con turns in something else based on you country based distribution center physical located in their own country to send the item to the customers. As long NCsoft do not offer TimeCards outside the USA there is no change in currency allowed what so ever.
EU Players pay 110$ (€100 converted) for 8.000 NCoins.
US Canada RUS pay 100$ per 8.000 NCoins.
Excl. VAT. So Western Europeans pay double double now.
What happend here is discrimination. Why only change to Euro? Why not Roebel? Pounds? Australian Dollar? Swiss Marks?
If NCoin amount would have been $100/1.1=€90. All they did was change the $ into € mark without calculating its real value into our own currency. This part is troubling the most to me. As EU you bigger price. It means total VAT higher then normal also. (Included based on Country).

I couldn't agree more. I can't believe it is even legal.
But considering the past event happening, I am not so surprised to see yet another epic fail from them.
They already banned half of real players bases across all 5 servers for 15 days (some were even totally legit like KTP for instance) while bot trains in the most famous bot trains places were untouched.
Anyway, the end is near!

This! The way it should have been done is having a weekly currency conversion done on what $100 is in which ever other currency and have that as price when buying Ncoins + the local VAT on top
Making it a blunt $100 to 100 Euro/Pounds w/e is NOT a valid currency conversion and is basically highway robbery..
Hime, all you guys are doing with this is pushing NON USA players into either leave NCWest and go to the Euro/RU Servers or use RMT to buy Coins ingame.. Neither outcome is good for the player community here..

If you NcWest are so pro customers that you make them pay in their local currency, then be consequent and make for example polish players pay in polish zloty. Couse now its euro, and we dont have euro in our country. You can of course keep your conversion 100$ = 100PLN.

The last 3 months since ncsoft hired new people i know many people quited with unreasonable bans ,changes,300$-400$ to get 1 lvl and now currencies.
It's worst day by day.
They forget that this game is 11 years old and we are like 15k people left in all servers.
For me all this attitude is like they want us out of L2 and move to other nc games (upcoming blade & soul, lineage eternity)
Day by day me and all people i know who are playing for more than 10 years and we are supporting that game we feel less and less respect from NCSoft and as players and as a customers..
Instead waste your time here that none will help you try find solutions to save your money.
Get USA proxy and buy nccoins in $ as before.
Set or find a VM(virtual machine) in USA and buy from there nccoins.
Say to USA friends buy you timecards from gamestop in $.
Connect to a friend in USA with remote or teamviewer and buy nccoins in $.
Buy from game selling sites nccards in $.
Thanks all and hope someone from NCSOFT read that message and forward it to the managers (new & old ) and start care about that game we all love before they kill it.

Agree on everything. Specially the bans. They are banning people left and right for unknown reasons as the legits seems to get banned the same way as the others. I don't understand why they ban real players anyway, the only people who should be targetted by the banning methods are bot trains whose purpose is farming adena for rmt, yet they seem to be untouched, something isn't working correctly.
About the ncoins things, only NCSoft will lose money from it as I am sure European players will buy much less then before or even not at all unless $ becomes stronger than €, I guess.
stop cry about bans all those were for botting, better say thanks to ncsoft that change his rules and was 15 days only and not perma like before. why they did that because was too much ppl involved on all servers
