So...i'm back in L2 after years of retirement :). Is the game i loved and still do. The problem is, that from what i understand talking with alot of players (on Naia), pvp is almost absent (only in siege - and i used to love L2's world pvp) , people are leaving the game etc. So, what is your oppinion ? Is that the truth ? Now, we don't have a game like it used to be, in the matter of world pvp and the amount of players (servers are always "light", sometimes "normal" and they used to be heavy ) ? From where i stand it seems that i should give up and don't start the game again, seems deserted. Opinions ?
To be honest, if you read around these forums you'll have the worst outlook ever for the game. But to log in (I'm on Chronos) and just play, you'd never see a lot of the doom and gloom you read about here. Sure there's places where the bots make it pointless, but there's other places and things to do.
PVP....well yeah, it's rough when you get to the high end stuff...that's where you'll see all the "pro" players with their supreme gear and the scripts and what not...but it's not all the time. It's not everyone you run into. It's not as ridiculous as you'd think it is by reading here. You can pick a fight at any level.....go start some shhh with someone randomly, and you'll have a little brawl. There's still plenty of fun to be had.
Maybe there's certain times where it's slow....but I never have a problem either talking to tons of people, or partying. Where people get their "this % of players are bots and shops, and this % is real players" and "everyone has scripts", "there are no legits" stats is beyond me. I think disgruntled players just pull those numbers out of their *****es because they want to make things sound worse than they are.
I recently came back too, after few years of retirement. I have enjoyed playing while basically leveling alt toons. Also I have been slowly working on my main as well. I have even leveled 4 toon in WOA from 70 – 80 you just need to go past the bots. Give it a shot it’s not bad on Chronos.
SwiftBlades were you the guy killing a toon called Grimm during a siege at schuttgart. That guy needed to die many times over. If it was you, you guy were even on the same side. It was awesome. Any way welcome back.
