I am starting a topic to talk about the current situation on all 5 servers. Sunday's siege ended being a no show on almost all 5 servers. There is the big rumors that many players left NCWest to start all over on core. Does anyone know anything about that?
The story would be that the trust between the players and ncwest support is broken since the 15 bans that occured last month. Tons of players were banned and getting the same auto answer from NCWest support. They lost all the trust and do not feel like spending time and money anymore in a game where they can lose everything at anytime.
What can be done to stop the bleeding and the mass amount of people cashing out due to those reasons combined with the reason that there is also absolutly nothing to do anymore on any server.
sad but true. i recently create a char on core, just to see what's going on over there, and i could say i have met lots of players from shilen, where i play for the last few years and i"ve been told players from other server, naia, chronos etc, joined as well core.

It's about 400% cheaper, there are no bots, the GM's have meetings with the clan leaders, their prestige system is 1/2 the price and 2x as useful, you get free xp while you sleep, there are about 5000 reasons Core is better than NCWest. The server isn't flooded with a ridiculous amount of Dark Weapons. Support responses aren't automated. I can keep going!

There was 1 pt at GoG, they auto logged as soon as you got into range, only bots I have seen, having gone back 2x since they are not there. And dw, I am qt <3
Recent mass bans are the reason why the servers are empty. Start recruiting more legit players.

The main reason why the servers are empty it is no longer possible to Multiboxing, four or more accounts for each PC/Laptop, so GG does not allow for this.
last time i checked like 6 months ago most active servers had max 50 on active ppl maybe 100 if siege or some coincidental epic i wouldnt worry about ppl leaving cause is nothing diferent if 50 ppl on or 10 this is too low for l2 anyway

Sure there's less of the crap we're used to here, but it sucks starting over from scratch nowadays, when you have stuff here. Curiosity is one thing....but they all come back eventually, whether they miss the ppl here, or their stuff here, or they want to tell us how huge their lvl is there etc lol...for whatever reason, ppl always come back. I'll be here til I quit L2 for good or it quits me. No reason to go somewhere else for the same aggravation. Bots don't bother me anyways much.

I started there and the difference is big. The cost of the game overall is much lower. 40euro for 6 months of premium versus 90$ here of prestige (6 months)
No eva rune, no topaz, no valiant scrolls in the store.
There are almost no bots, you can check that easily by scouting the most popular areas at different hours.
Much better drops, once you get premium, even mobs in low level areas start dropping over 1k adena each instead of 30adena here.
Meetings between Clan leaders and GM to discuss about the game, the direction, how to keep the fight against bots relevant.
Items like brooch jewels, shirts, abundance box are in the store permanantly with some flash sales from time to time compared to here where you have two weeks to cash in like crazy to keep up.

I know you like to tell everyone you are legit and yes, most of the players are not. If only unlegits had been ban for 14 days, I would have no problem with it. but the fact that many legits players were banned too and many unlegits were left untouched broke the trust between NCWest and the players.

I was banned, more than once, and i got message im using 3rd party software aswell. BTW, they didn't apologize.

I see no change, if anything I see more people on chronos. I would be happy if they did what they did years ago, merge all servers to 2. then as these 2 servers got too big make more. it forces players to make new friends/alliances/wars/clans etc...

That would be great if the average player liked competition, but they don't want any part of it. Bartz, shilen, magmeld, and even chronos are cesspools of people that hate losing and that's why they are on said respective servers. Without them, NC would lose the money that people feel they need to dump into their characters to stay on top of their noncompetitive server. Whereas if they merged those servers versus Wrath, Nova, ect they would probably quit like what happened last time they made Chronos/Naia pre-god.

I don't need a lot of adena for things anymore, as my main and 3 main alts are geared up.....I play casual now compared to hardcore many years ago.....I have no shortage of friends in game and rarely have trouble finding a party or something to do. I'm in Apex ally, so there's tons of people to hang with and talk to rather than randoms. Bots don't bother me so much because my lower level days are over unless I get super bored and want to slow level an alt for nostalgia. So I'll just stay here til like I said, I quit L2 or L2 quits me. :-)

These servers just don't have enough players any more. But NCSoft won't merge servers, as they hope everyone will just pay to transfer servers. That's why many ppl keep leaving, they care about 1 thing: short term income (hence the reason they changed the currency to €). While if they merged the servers 5 --> 2 they might even get more donations.

Not shure what ur guys are smoking, but as a european player purchasing coins is now cheaper for me. Before i paid 10$ + taxe = 12€ or so and now its 10€ (tax included in those 10€) so its cheaper as before.

Yes, I can confirm this now too, but it wasn't like that few weeks back ...
problem is there is barely any skillgap in this game left, if you loose = you need more items and you will avoid pvping the same guys, there is no way to kill slightly more geared ppl. There is such big itemgap that you can literaly solo 21ppl of your own level just by gear diference 2 chronicles ago, now probably even worse like where is the logic? that besides of ncwest blatanly turning away from zr\tower in pvp. Just accept it game is dead and nothing will revive this
I like the part when the title of this thread was changed from "players" to "bots" when the entire thread itself is dedicated to people moving to a server that has no bots and isn't price gauging.
NCWest is losing a lot of things, but bots isn't one of them.
Seriously that these actions are emptying the game? Really honest players are stopping playing for the NCwest does nothing, no use prohibit the number of windows open, that is, the amount of open games on a single machine, if they manage to bypass it in other ways. Just watch the Olympics, see the dominant clans remain dominant clans, and they can do things that an honest players could not do, for example, they all have a pattern, just GM observe and see that the way to fight them are all alike, they are all the same in the beginning of the fight in the Olympics, and at the end of the Olympics. I find it very interesting to see a player can always pick up the original Othel Rogue target when it uses its clones for example. To sum it all, they may be afraid to use in one place, but in the Olympics, ******* use without any problem, because from what I learned, changes made to the GameGuard only reached some Bot programs, less the *******. And that's sad, because the game is dead, most items are in the hands of one clan, and trade is expensive because they set the price of everything, because the best items are with them.
