Portrait Fan Art Contest

Greetings Adventurers!

We want to see your characters! Show off your character design, gear, and artistic skills by creating a portrait of your in-game character for our very first Portrait Fan Art Contest. Submit your hand-drawn or digitally created portraits to the email address starting September 10, 2015 until September 24, 2015. for a chance to win some awesome prizes.


Event Duration
The Portraint Fan Art Contest will run from September 10, 2015 to 24, 2015. Winners will be announced and rewarded on October 1st.


Event Rules
Entries must be received by 11:59 PM Pacific Time, September 24th, 2015.
One entry per person only.
Entries must be in in one of the two categories: hand-drawn or digitally-drawn.
Entries must include their character name and server name in the emailed submission as well as on the submission itself.
Use the subject line "Portrait Submission" and include which category the entry is for (hand drawn or digitally drawn).
Judging will be based on creativity, originality, and the best representation and interpretation of the event's theme.
Entry must be original work
Winner's will be announced October 1st, 2015
A list of winners will be posted in the Lineage 2 forums and website.
Winners will be contacted via the registered email of the character's associated account.
Prize will be mailed in game to the character provided on the submission email.

Hope that about USA only people participation will be a false cause if true it's another fail of NCWEST ( 80% of ppl playing are EU-RUSSIA-BRAZIL).
Looking for confirmation or way EU people can participate.

in the past it didnt matter where you are from as long as you dont tell them "hey, i am from russia" with your submission.

i remember most past events like this most winners from outside USA/Canada

as Vood said it doesnt matter where you live its just for legal reasons as long as you follow the event instructions you should be good

but on a side note the ARV (approximate retail value) of the prize items always makes me laugh

i don't... but this is the direction i would have liked to go if i could paint or draw, or even digitally produce this quality.

Hello ,
When will they post the winners and everyone's submissions?
I have been looking forward to looking at all the art for a few weeks.
My submission is a mix of Lineage 2, a BaseballCard & Van Gogh :)
I Lost a ton of the detail in the scan to email .
but i would like to confirm Ncsoft got it . And am looking forward to
seeing it with all the rest of the entries

I just can't help to wonder what happened to the part in the official rules of this contest that said entries must contain character and server names on the artwork, too. I am dead sure I read that dozens of times on the rules pdf and I sure can't find it now over there. Seems the rules got changed, which is very sad. Always contests here are a big fat ugly joke. Like deleting one of the rules after the contest ended just so you can award those entries, kind of fishy don't you think?

Thank you for 1-st place in digital category contest in my fight with my tablet's pen! (this poor thing needs a nibs badly now :D)

tbh i think the second hand drawn should of got first place a lot more detail and it was coloured and no complaints from the digitally drawn but #2 was my favourite

Oh great thanks. So according to the rules most of the winners except two should be disqualified. Only on 2 of those winning pieces I see character & server names. What's up with that L2 staff?
