what mage do I go with to pve aoe and mass pvp those are my favorite things I'm not into single pvp combat that much so I wont care if I'm weak in that area but in mass pvp I would like to be able to get some kills and pve late game esp aoe farm solo

PvP mage is not so good these days. But if you can get all top end game gears then yeah...you should be able to enjoy some kills in mass PvP. BUt I must remind you while same end-game-geared Yul Archer makes 100 kills, your mage will make about 20 kills.
As to the original question, my answer is Play DarkElf Storm or Darkelf soulTaker(Necro) They have the highest Magic damage.
