i have two toons, and i am still very confused about what element i should use on their weapons (e.g. holy, water, fire. etc) even though both toons have hit 99:
Before Toon #1 was awaken, she was an elven elder, holy element generated damange 50% greater than other element. BUt since these toons awakened, it seemed that types of element no longer matter since attack skills are no longer element based. (except Elven Eva Saint's atk skills are dark based, go figure)

Go for holy, there are only few mobs with holy resist so it will work it well, also due to the massive kelbim stuff deliverd recently by the last events most players overdozed their armor with dark resist leaving holy resist weakened, so I think holy should work it well :D
This is a good question. If Im a spellhowler and I have a wind attack I would think elementing to wind would make sense. but I seem to remember a change at some point. Can anyone verify this?

All Feoh Wizards have 4 x stances, i.e. Wind, Earth, Fire, water stances.
When the weapon element matches with your stance, you get Stance damage bonus + weapon elemental damage bonus.
However, when weapon elemental and stance don't match, only Stance damage bonus is applied and you don't get the extra 300 weapon elemental bonus(if 300 elemental that is)
Doesn't really matter what elemental for Feoh but make sure you don't get Holy or Dark for Wizard weapons! That's newbie mistake. I've seen Sayha Seer doing her +7 blessed Apo retri..300 holy....well....It works for Seers I guess but very hard to sell...LOL cuz no feoh can use it! Most popular elemenal for Wizard weapon = Wind.
I think GM JuJi has done an experiment on this. Check 'Juji's Lab' and you will see.
For all other classes, I think the most popular is Holy or Wind.
