Tank solo k95

My tank hit 95 today, and tried to solo k95.

I had full buffs, including the rage aura and double monster damage buffs on.

I have a high oe specter cutter, as well as str dyes and even an attack type armor set

As hard as I tried I could not do any damage to the k95 boss. After 20 minutes of solid skill mashing I had barely dropped 20% of his life bar.

What more can I do to solo k95? is it hopeless?

Are you trying K95-solo? or K95-party?

Are you using your pet?

More than likely he is killing your pet when he gets his berserker skill on, if he kills an enemy (pet, NPC, anything) he recovers 20% HP.


Other than that, its just not possible that you hit him for 20 minutes and he only drop 20%, sorry, its just impossible.

Healers don't even summon the Tree for K95 boss, cuz when Tree dies, the boss heals 20% HP too!!

i don't use the Summoner npc for the fact that she casts mass exile.
but i was told after asking if it was worth it, that in k95, the summoner's summons also give the boss the hp boost when they die while he has that zerk on.

so... unless you are a healer, or a really heal heavy Enchanter...
Don't take the summoner npc for K95.

Another tip: unless you are a healer/enchanter, take your time to kill all the prisoners beforehand.

If you let them live, they join the boss fight in the 3rd room, die like moth and the boss will heal off them happily.
