Here I am, finally I got my Yul archer lvl 100, Feoh 99 and Iss 99 with extra 200B-300B lying around doing nothing...My toons fully stacked too...+12 Bloody bow, +12 Dark shaper, +10 Bloody dual dagger, 3 x abundance talisman, Longings, LvL4-5 Lavien Rose jewels, 3 x Earth wyrm rings, Lindvior, Baium soul rings, AQ soul rings, Tauti, Kelbim, +8 sets of almost every kind...etc.
However, even though I have almost everything, for some strange reason...I am missing my old dwarf scavenger. Is it nostalgia? or am I simply bored and tired after grinding 3 toons for lvl 99 and beyond?
One thing is for sure. Dwarf class is fun! I remember playing LvL 20-26 scavenger back in the good old days when spoiling and sweepering had about 70% success rate. "How many animal bones will I get? or Enchant scrolls? matts? what's gonna drop?" With each mob going down, there was an element of Great Expectation and it was so much fun watching my animal bone collection and adena grow each day. Crafting was fun too, although I ended up spending most of my warsmith's time for making shots and selling them... lol. I remember buying the unwanted D, C grade items from people to crystallize them for shots. I reduced the production cost of D-shots as low as 9 Adena per shot and sold them for 12 adena per shot when there was no competition in the same village. or 10-11 adena per shot most of the time. With the sale of 100,000 shots, I made 200,000-300,000 adena pretty much! and it was so much fun! lol (Back in the good old days, 200,000-300,000 Adena was a lot!)
All MMORPG games release a new expansion every 6-12 months simply because their main customers, the core players of that game have tried, played, experienced all the available contents in the game and are getting bored with the game, looking for something new...
If the Dwarf Classes get their abilities back, i.e. better spoiling for the fortune class, better crafting + enchant success rate for Maestro(for CH-RI-ST sake!) higher the level, higher the success chance? something like...adds 10% at lvl 85, 20% at 90, 30% at 95 and 40% at 99??? LOL LvL 99 Maestro should have 90% craft success(with 30% of the time, a chance for blessed item and 40% enchant success!), the game will be so much more fun!
Getting the life back to dwarf classes = giving something new to do for players = pretty much like releasing a major new expansion.
#1 reason why people quit L2 = bots but...
#2 reason why people quit L2 = they are bored...need something more interesting to do.
Have you noticed a surge of old L2 players coming back to the game after the 'UnderGround' Update? They left the game 2-5 years ago because they ran out of things to do and got bored. Now that they have something new to do, they are coming back.
If you Revive the Dwarf classes, the game will last 2 x longer at least and will draw even more people....
I am missing doing things myself....
"SHOW ME THE MONEY! POWER OVERWHELMING! SOMETHING FOR NOTHING!!!" mode of L2 is easy BUT! Not as much fun and fulfilling as playing it without any cheat codes...

And that's pretty much it. 1 is my alt clan leader, but that's the only one with a job, or a use. I agree..give us a reason to play these guys! They're mediocre DDs at best. The weakest Tyrr, and the weakest dagger....that aside, they're mostly useless. Sure the spoiler is good 99+, but I have no ambition to level him. My crafter makes R shots...but other than that I have no ambition to level him up either. BORING! If they had some actual perks to get them going (more than a stupid attack skill or something) I'm sure many would get excited. I'd hit it.

Perhaps I was a bit cynical in my original response to you. Believe me or not, all my past and present writings are not just about me showing off. Yes, I write stuff to get people's attention but with good intention and purpose. My goal is to move this dying game, L2 into the right direction where Both players and the game company, NC can coexist and be prosperous together in the future. My ideas don't have to be perfect and flawless. I know there are a lot of smart people out there who can always fill in the logical gaps and make them better and correct them if needed. Sometimes what I say can turn out to be totally wrong, but as long as there is someone out there who can prove me wrong showing me "The Why" Step by Step, that in itself, the process itself will have provided a brand new ideas and solutions; if so, I think I've served my purpose. I am not the cause of all things happening but I wish to be the Initial cause.
It's not just about showing people how much I spend and what I didn't get.

Yes!, Dwarf classes need something more for sure! I mean have you looked at what level 101 skills dwarves get? NONE! LOL!
Some suggestions for 101 Dwarf skills =
Fortune Seeker 101 skill : ULTIMATE PLUNDER = 100 % Spoil Chance
Maestro 101 Skill: Bow/Dagger Resistance and damage reduction 90%/Passive skill (A TYRR WARRIOR THAT can PAWN YUL and OTHELL!)
Oh...My...what is it with people wanting to send me their Naked Pictures? I even get this in game! LOL!lol..you really get offers for this?
*I like the spoiler skill...but the maestro needs something too...maybe a 100% craft with a % of it becoming blessed?
*And both should get an attack skill that actually does something different than the other races. Maybe a pvp blow with the dagger that has a % disarm with a successful attack...and maybe a pvp blow with the maestro that has a % chance to drop your pdef to 0 for a small amount of time with a successful attack. Dwarves are supposed to be masters of gear, so of course their skills should be able to disable others' gear! Hence their pvp strength!
*Add a golem pet with the strength and ability of a player to make it almost as if you're attacking with 2 characters! Similar to the attack of a Wynn's summon, but only 1 golem. We just need to go a little crazy with this to save the race!

Yes, I don't mind helping the people in need and I've helped them on numerous occasions; but only to find out they don't log in the game any more...

Absolutely agree: was way more interesting. Levels 20-30 had 10+ areas where you can go for. You allways were thinking where should i go now, should i go spoil varnish and later iron ore and later make steel of it, or perhaps i should focus on animal bones and later craft coarse bone powder. There were choices and now let's take level 85-94 in 90% of dailies grind you will get thin braid/synthetic braid as a spoil. :mad:Just think about that: previously you used explore map and mobs due to different drops and spoils especially. And now you have to areas for your level and 1 material that you spoil throughout the game ( thin braid/synthetic braid/durable braid ). Could it be crappier? Spoil gives profit but it has no fun!:(

Anyways... regarding your question how did i level up a fortune seeker to 99??
I had him level up ofc.. then follows how.. i do kill mobs.. interesting thing is i do party a lot coz soloing for him sux.. mostly i did was rb and party at either with a wynn at nornil or rbs.. if i want rb i keep my vit use ffs and maphyr and i get forthfold or more.. when i reach 95 i do party my fs to grind with me in raider with my yul with oop iss doing heal.. i will not tell you where at raiders and i will not tell you how... discover it yourself... mostly doing it after all dailies and do grind 1 or 2 hours.. after it reach 99 i spoil cowing so i have lots of sp scrolls and other stuff...
P.s. i made my fs 99 way before underground update.. she is 16ap now 33 % more and she is 100...:D:D
