Too late to start fresh?

I played a Spoiler back in 2012, just came back to L2 today because of the steam announcement.

I reading how spoilers are horrible now and useless, if this is true can I start at level 1?

Will I be playing solo forever or be able to catch up to anyone?

If you really want to start fresh, wait a couple of days and start on new server.

They are opening up a new server called Zaken on Thursday I think........... It would make more sense to do it on Wednesday after server downtime, but apparently it will be on Thursday.
