The news about a new server opening came to me like an old dealer knocking on my rehab door. This is a truly GREAT chance for Lineage to get it's glory back. So dear NCsoft.... PLEASE DON'T SCREW THIS! Put online GM's in the server. Block bots, RMT and all that stuff. Now with all the people coming in from Steam (hopefully), don't show them what Lineage 2 is... Show them what L2 could/should be.
With that being said... I can't wait for this <3

btw they said already server transfers wont be enabled for people joining Zaken "at any point" (take this with grain of salt)^_^
oh he meant at any point within that time frame. if you ask me. they should make an L2 for grown ups only. that means no kids allowed or let them play on their own servers. or put like 10+ 20+ 30+ all the way up to 80+ like in one of the other game

In a word, nothing. Everything that can be done on other servers can be done on Zaken. Zaken is simply a place for new players to start fresh and for a change of pace for veteran players.
Rather than try and attract people to a new server that will be no different that the other servers currently available,if low population is a problem on the pay to play servers you should merge 2 of them,then later on if the population explodes then add another server.
To add another server when the population is already low only suggests you are expecting a big population growth in the future from a possible update ?:confused:

i agree with that guy. everything that can be done on Zaken can't be done elsewhere. in other words, everybody starts from 0. that is always a good idea. they should hold a yearly anniversary event of this sort where everybody get to come to a 0 server and bring a toon back from it
okey. so not everybody can start from 0. but for those that can will always return to the other servers. and new players will always be new players. we just hang along for the ride from our vets
New server doesn't mean new gameguard or anything! There will be bots. The issue here is IF the GMs will act faster and stricter to keep the server clean.
Yes difficult to finish the quest at the start whit many bot , training golem , need a gm for that , normaly when open a new server , they must give at least one gm or two to see if its work good in the game
