Why? Just met a bot on my way, running around same route for hours. Hitting mobs I attacked, picking up all cash, not responding. Trying to lvlup, get my quests done before work. Not going to happen. BTW anyone know how to report them in game?
Don't bother, nothing helps, NCWest has no will or resources to fight the bots or scripters.
If they ban the Pay2Win randoms that run on auto, their income will drop by a big margin. So let's say it straight - The bots + Pay2Win run the servers and you should be thankful that they pay the bills for you, NC makes ton of cash, so they are happy and no need to do anything.

They somehow "allow" the bots on servers. (It's very easy to detect bots. It's hard to detect the bot software but its easy to detect the bot behavior.)
Our point is:
Just try to ban every bot on this server at least at this beginning and see how the things going.

You don't understand how this whole thing works, sad indeed...
Most P2W are using scripts, because most of them are handicapped and if they start to lose to the general population, they lose desire to play and quit, which makes no money.
On the other side are the Adena/Item sellers that benefit from the P2W guys too, selling them whatever is not possible to get through the L2Store and so on.
The problems are interconnected and since NC as the biggest side of interest does little to nothing, so they don't lose income.
If NC starts from the head, instead of the feet, then the game will become bot free, but also less profitable and way less populated ( the P2W always got some group of randomness following them too).
I'd hate to say it but I've already heard people openly talk about how they bot and run scripts. This made me so mad to hear. I almost quit just hearing how open and fine they were with cheating.
I just logged in today and made an new Erthia and before I could even get to the first quest giver, I recorded 2 minutes of footage of an endless stream of Erthia bots. I've haven't seen so many little girls since Justin Beiber came to concert.
Seriously though, can't NCSoft see how outrageous this problem has become. We're not talking about a bot or two here and there, we're talking HUNDREDS. I know people make stores in town and sell things overnight or whatever but isn't there some in game system that can be put in to have a player hit any key to continue or click a NOBOT box or something every hour or so?
This guy has been sitting square in the noob zone for hours on end. Do the mods even pay attention, or are they just brain dead zombies who are incapable of running a video game?

My day continued, and I got so sick of all the bots I just stopped at a quest turn in around level 25 and killed anything that moved with a gibberish name until finally being killed by another real player (hopefully not in relation to the bots, but who knows).
Please be zero tolerance with bot and scripts with this server and long life to zaken server.
Make this as a chance to prove that l2 economy exists without bots and noobs don't need scripts to target next healer.

Party matching is a very bad place to judge off server being active or not.
