Rather then complain about our little friends, I've accidentally found a possible work around for dealing with them.
I was recently leveling up a new character, and tried to attack a raid boss near one of the ruines (despair or agony I can't recall). While I was trying to run away and save my skin from certain death, I ran through the ruins near some bots.
The bots were not able to distinguish the raid minons from the other mobs in the area and started to attack them. Within 15 minutes I had cleared out the entire ruins of bots by simply circling them with the raid boss on my tail.
Next I monitored the programmed path they took to return and logged off with the raid boss on me, sure enough they started to attack the minions. This didn't last too long as the raid boss will eventually return to spawn.
I then tried a different raid boss at the other ruins and sure enough, the bots responded the same way.
However, it didn't go 100% to plan as the bots are all orc mystics capable of vampiric spells that keep them alive, in some instances they were able to constantly heal themselves while the boss and minions pummeled them, sometimes up to 5 minutes, other times indefinitely. I actually managed to take down a raid boss while they tanked it, oddly enough.
I suggest reprogramming the raid bosses to wander around the ruins. I would even go so far as to give them aggression so they attack folks that get too close & apply a dark resistance to counter the vampiric spells.
this is an interesting technique.
i usually just buff them with healer buffs and watch them soe to town to get renewed adventure buffs.
I think they took away a healer's ability to buff mobs now tho...............or did you mean the bots?
Bots will distinguish between mobs if the controller tells them to. They simply on't attack roaming mobs if they're added. Used to do similar stuff years ago.
buff bots, they did indeed remove buffing mobs, which is a shame.
they also removed buffing demon/blood sword.
even with a dominator, the animation plays, but they don't get buffs.

Nice work my friend now bot programmers will fix that ****. Nice work. It is nice to have such guys as u here that help cheaters to cheat.
