It'd be great if you brought back the abundance talisman event soon. My oil hole is getting fracked after coming back from a break.
Have dual events, pair old events with any new ones. Give your "paying" customers a choice. Adults have real life things to take care of and missing critical events like that just makes coming back very hard.

Love the fact that when you login it still shows all the old event data. No mention anywhere on the website or in game on what the new event is. No information given describing what to do, where to go, etc. Yet the game is LIVE. cmon....

That proof of red will probably come from those quests.
But I agree, this is false advertisement. Announcing it'll be 'free', than charge roughly 1bil in R Gems is sad.

you are right its around 700m wow. at least origin reset take max 100m or less.
Just check event note, to get Proof of Red, you need to complete the event quest, not that hard :)
Literally, when they mean "free," that you will not have the luxury of spending any NCoin for this event, simple as that.
If the two-week period is difficult for any player to accumulate 1bi of Adena, really I can't say tips to make adena anymore.
P.S: disappointed by this event version without the option to buy Ancient/Legendary dyes from Pink NPC.

FREE is FREE no matter how you look at it. Time spent in game playing does have value, so the fact of the matter is that we were told misinformation. There should be no requirements to change dualclass as Juji said it would be FREE.

Quest from event is buged??? i don't see Quest on the quest list, i kill 250+ mobs and i can't take back. Yes i kill only the mobs what need to be killed to the Quest.

i am getting less than half i did yesterday and i have a prestige rune....
and the prestige rune was only working for adena and not drops.

yeah that one is even more weird.. I have on 2 chars 400+ petra quest items which means I killed way more then 400 mobs and still not good enough for this fail even quest npc lmao..

Let me get this logic. They hate mages so now they make it easier to get an OE Retris for the ones that don't have an OE Retri atm (which, I assume, are most of the mages in this game)

Logged in, took event quest, went Phantasmal Ridge, killed enough mobs to get just under 400 quest items from HB quest "Vestige of the Magic Power", went back to Giran, turned in event quest for Proof of Red, paid 667 Rgems and changed dual class. Just about 1hr.
All APs saved, spent 800m SP learning new skills, dualclass skills and enchanted skills reset. Just get re-certification for dualclass and learn it again. Can even be considered a free reset since normally you pay 20m to reset dualclass skills.
I agree this event is seriously broken and unfair for those with mage weapons. Other than that, most of the qq here are just not doing it right or not understanding something

I think i paid 2b for my AQ bottle, some months later its worth 100m.
Tauti ring was valued 50-60b before, now theyre 15b.

With the mage weapons, let me give you my personal example:
Over the years I've saved and built up my collection of weapons trying to have something special....
I have a +8 Dark Retributer and a +8 Bloody Retributer, both of which were slightly above average endgame weapons.
I also made a +13 Blessed Ama Caster, I got VERY Lucky, it was a rare and strong endgame weapon.
I also have a +12 Blessed Apoc retri I got lucky with and have kept hold of for alts, another once impressive weapon.
Melee wise I'd made a +12 blessed ama bow for my yul, sold that and made +12 bloody fighters for my Evis, not too hard, pretty much expected with a reasonable amount of adena and some HEWR... LOTS of pimk melee weapons all over town.

Now my +12 is an average achievable endgame mage weapon, making my +8 Dark and +8 Bloody 3rd rate junk weapons and my +13 Buster an average weapon.... My once impressive, rare items are now basically standard gear, easy to get for every average scrub.
Even worse, my Dark and Bloody Retris are locked as they are, can't switch to melee to OE higher, so they're less than 3rd rate items and I can't upgrade them!
The pure amount of random toons with +12 melee weapons on the server is crazy, a mage one used to be something impressive, now NC have trashed it.
The only saving grace is that NCSoft trashed mages, gimping them in PvP and turning PvE into instanced raid only, which mages suck at, so no one really plays them anymore and mage weapons aren't at the value they used to be anyway...
With the Boss Jewels that did suck, however it was a gradual process over time and people are used to repeated epic events.
Also boss jewels are a hidden thing, no one else sees them, they don't make your character impressive with a glow or anything fancy, No one thinks "wow that guy has an AQ soul ring, it looks cool". A good OE weapon was a cool status symbol, especially a mage one. Now it's just standard.

All of that stuff got depreciated over years, with lots of advanced notice (I know I had all of them). Not even the Korean event notes say about R99 mages getting screwed over (though they may have added it later).
now, for ppl who qq about free exchange of dual :)
1.you need to sweat, work hard, blabla to value your char :))
2.mby, there is an expoit/flood/blabla(image 300-500 ppl in the same time changing over and over again their dual classs at npc). I guess there are some ppl who want payback for closing l2t- i saw it at faeron, a big army of ertheya bot is born every second(300-400/min)
Btw, i remember few years ago(4-5) an south american clan who found a way to block us during the siege. They somehow mess texture and that thing give us lag...but not any lag, when we aproch their castle we coudnt move at all. For more then 6 months they kept castle...When siege was over...everything go back to normal :)
Changing weapon its a fail...melee to mage...pffff.

Understandable, i personally think this thing is completely ridiculous.
A bit unbalanced if you ask me, half of magmeld has now rerolled titan and ton of people are running around with OE retributers, just a matter of time before raids are killed in first 2 seconds of spawning.

I take quest event on my main from lvl 97 and 99+ and i tried to finish that but!
1) i dont get item
2) I have sound ON and still didint her, i all the time change place and still nothing. Try make solo/group nothing. JUST DIDINT WORK.
When i get few hours later quest on my sub from lvl 85-95 to kill mobs in soa i i heard that sound and i finish that quest, but still i didint hear anything from quest 97, 99. Wtf??
Actually, there is nothing fun at all about this event. There is absolutely nothing you can accomplish in this event unless you have tons of adena.. The whole R-gem thing in game is ridiculous.

U guys forgot u play NCWest which means, Money > all.
And to make Money u have to destroy valluable stuff that is alrdy in game and offer new stuff everyone wants.
Its easy to see it on the Enchant scrolls. 1st there was simple EWR/Blessed EWR then Giant Weapon Enchant Scrolls/Scrolls of Destruction EWR/Heavenly Enchant Weapon R Scrolls...after that there was Enchant Stones. 10% normal/20% normal/Giant (with crystallizing)/blessed 10% and 20%/Windy Giant Enchant Stones/Freya Enchant stones .....and so on and so on.
So i let u know somethig for the future, mage weapon here or there, it was pretty simple to get a mage weapon to +10 alrdy and i bet u it was cheaper then some did in the past with buying tons of destruction scrolls. Anyway Point of this is, earlier or later those People who get a "easy" mage weapon now (dont know how many ppl running around with +12 and higher mellee weapons who arent bloody/dark alrdy....think about that), will at some point loose value again when NC decides to bring the next update on Enchanting scrolls or stones or whatever.
So better u use your energy to get a Job/second Job if u cant get enough Money to be perma on top :D Ferine and Sharlanna can ask Voo for some financial help mb, i heard he decided to drop +15 Armor parts he dont need anymore.
p.s. 2!! years ago a +6 set was alrdy crazy nice, today even twinks dont go out without +6 anymore ;) Lots of ppl running around in +10 nowadays alrdy.
Thank you for this event. I'm glad that I finally have a +12 Mage weapon after popping so many Retribs because the enchant rate for mage weapons still blows even after the "improvements" to odds in this update.
Now if you just have one more event that lets me either change my main class to something else, or lets me transfer ANY item on one character to a character on the same account I'll be happy.
I'll check with Juji right now to see if we have an ETA for that.

Until the GameGuard patch arrives, why don't you simply disable character creation, like during the Tersi's Light event in January 2012? That's something you can do on your own, no help from Seoul required. What's going on at the moment in the Fairy Settlement, the Sea of Spores etc. is beyond ridiculous.

Or take it one step further..
Allow people to create accounts by paying $5-10 during this period only (while waiting for gameguard), give them stuff from l2store of equivalent value.
Would allow new players to start playing, and old players to make new characters if needed..
All though my suggestion would probably end up in a lawsuit or something.

I made this suggestion because Juji and Neutronium aka Sparse were already around back then and will probably remember/have on file which metaphorical wires they cut. So this is a solution that could be implemented within a few minutes.
Something like what you are suggesting has also been implemented before. Remember, when the game went "free to play" in November 2011 the remaining balance of our subscription fees was converted into NCoins, to be spent at our discretion. But in the meantime L2Store items have become tradeable. I think it was Draecke who pointed out that botters would sell L2Store items bought with the 10 dollar account creation fee for adena, and then resell that adena for dollars, getting drops - and nowadays R-Gems etc. from the Daily Misson Reward Chests - as an additional bonus.
I think the best solution would still be to make a firm decision: no characters for nobody. This would have the additional advantage that the decreased revenue this will entail would convey a sense of urgency to the head office in Seoul, motivating them to put a bit of pressure on the GameGuard developers :D
