The Shadai’s Shiny Jewelry Box in the Ultimate Shadai’s Jewelry Box (x100) will be updated in the L2 Store. Previous Shadai’s Shiny Jewelry Boxes and non-compoundable jewels from that box will be replaced during the maintenance on February 17th, 2016.
Edit: As an update, the downtime has been pushed out a bit, to roughly an hour from now (2:30 pm PST). Once the schedule has been confirmed I'll update this thread.
This maintenance has been rescheduled for Friday, February 12th, 2016. Once I have the exact times I'll put up a new maintenance notice.
Is it really so hard to fix that kind of bug with the exp? HOW much investigation u need to find and fix that bug? 2nd day of a "Exp" event that will help ppl lvl up and you really messed up with every source of exp in the game! When it comes to get some money you fix the problem with some unscheduled maintenance that doesnt include the main and serius problem the servers face after the previous maintenance and thats they exp ppl get from instance, not the jewels than cant be coumpounded. PRIORITIES PEOPLE. And your priority is only for donators!

What if you already opened them into Level 1. Garnet Pieces? Will they be replaced with new Garnet Boxes?

The Kartia/Baylor XP rates are still being investigated, and as soon as we have an ETA we'll post here to let everyone know.
It's not that hard to understand what happened.
Basically Korea changed the the XP (and SP?) and the vitality consumption (yes, that changed too) in a way that you will get the same XP/Vita consumption IF you using a Vital Stone Lv5.
It's not the first time they add a boost and take it in some other place.

What I try to say is that I have to wait six days before this update even happens.
Sofar with this Maintenance you only will update the L2 Store Item itself. Item that has never been tested in the first place.
Kartia/Baylor XP/SP change that never has been tested. How hard can it be to look at the backup settings from previous Maintenance and change back to the original US West Settings? We are loosing our investments worth of real money because of this worthless small mistakes/unannounced ninja changes by your Company.
Neither of these issues were intentional or found in testing when it was done and only appeared after the maintenance was over. However, we are taking the steps to correct both issues.
Was comparing to the other US speaking server, but yes you are right. (Still think that our version and EU version came from the same basic build so my idea, that it cause the bug, might still apply)
Still find too much of a coincidence that reduced XP is basically the same as the increased XP vital jewel gives and the vitality consumption got messed up in the process too. (2 things that the Vital Stone gives)

Rofl so extra maintenance so you don't miss out on to much cash, but the exp problem can wait until next week? Only with NCSoft!

This is a good point. How many people buy xp runes for the XP of kartia? I know I do, and my 7 day is burning away and I get a lot less value for it (lower xp). I would suggest no one buy any xp or vit items, if you are using them for kartia, unless they lower the prices or until the fix it. Why spend 200 nccoin on an hourly rune, or k90/95/99 pass, when you get less bang for your buck?

hehe dunno, but yesterday I log in game, bought that pack, set private store -sell and I saw that I had 1.6b instead of 31.5b which I should had. I got almost hearth attack, but than I tried RR and adena was back...
