If you are oly/coc/cs player did is ok to enter in game and make that stufss 1h Shilen /3h Magmeld /6h Bartz early if you vote +1gmt
or +2h Shilen / 0 Magmeld / -3h Bartz late/same/early from time what you play now if vote for -2gmt.
Don't vote just because you fallow your clan leader or w/e, vote how you will need to change log time for server events if you have job/family/stady/social life/gf-bf...
Also ppl who not play in one of 3 servers who merge not need to vote, use brain and let to ppl who play there to decide in what time zone they want to play...

Well because some ppl in Magmeld not believe me and to others 90% of my clan this is my edit of Europe map to all see how is hard to play server events in - gmt time. If you think the is easy just imagine the you have family, have job or go in university or w/e and tomorrow is Monday as is and CS just end. We in Magmeld have -2, if you are here in Europe you will know but no, you are in other side of world and for you is problem play in day 3/4/5/6/7pm time. Tell me pls how is more big problem play CS in Sunday in day time instead play in after midnight in 01/02/03/04/05/06 am...

Yeah what is the point in having 2 servers in the same GMT, if youre going to turn the gave to european side then merge Naia too, also put the website in greek, german and french translation and delete english and portuguese, its useless to have a portuguese/english site if all the ppl from those countries will be working at the time the server massive envents, like olys/COC and sieges.

If this is truly what you guys wanted. Why not add all the time zones so that we can select the time that would actually benefit us? Also I would like to see a different server time zone not one that is already available. What is the point of getting 2 - 3 servers with the same time zone? If Naia is GMT +1, Chronos is GMT -2, and Zaken is GMT - 6. Could you guys add the following server time zones GMT -5, -4, -3, 0, +2, and +3? This will add a 4th server options so that players can choose which server time best fits them?

Actually, I wouldn't mind moving to Chronnos if they offer players from the merged servers the chance to accomodate themselves if the new time isn't good for them. I picked the server base in timezone only, I would like the chance to re-picked if that is abruptly changed

I have one question, if ppl say +1 did that mean the new server will be same with naia +1.
Why I ask.
+1 naia is = +1gmt winter time. in summer +1 naia is +2gmt real time.
Because you will make new server set in summer time and if you pick real time +1gmt that mean in winter will be +0 or all server events will be 1h early from +1 naia time.

So the current poll is leading with +1 gmt. What options are NCSoft planning to offer for people who want to continue playing Lineage 2 in a timezone appropriate for North America? Will transfers be opening up to Zaken (which i think is GMT -6 , much closer to that of bartz) +1 GMT basically precludes many people in north america from participating in Ceremony of Chaos and/or Olympiad.
Playing on bartz I should've voted for -5, but my choice was -2 only because of what seems right for all. My logic:
-5 Bartz ~ 1k players online mostly
GMT Shilen ~ 1.5k players
-2 Magmeld ~ 900 players
It's easy to do the math, and safer cause of multi acc voting, almost 2k ppl are -2 and -5, 1.5k are GMT, not even +1 (option that whom had preference could've take when ppl choose the server first time and didn't.).
So for me it seems fair if we take a middle ground.
At least I did what I could with my single vote and hope the time zone wont be the worse possible for whom chose bartz and magmeld a long time ago. If it changes to +1 my only option is to stop for a while cause I don't have money to transfer right now (Brazil is not in a good time for spending dolars at will).

Many of us are "stuck" in Bartz cause we chose to play to this server even though its timezone isnt good, and we started at it only because it was new server, and furthermore we do not wish or cannot pay for transfer.
Half of Bartz population is european and that is why many of us, voted +1. However, whatever the outcome is, free transfer to bartz naia will be handy for all, cause i know many ppl that said will quit if this vote isnt of their choice (both eu and us). It would be nice if the admins considered doing that, free transfer to naia bartz for disappointed ppl so they will not quit, and to avoid exploitation of this, to allow transfer of one toon that is active and not transfer x lvl toons loaded with items free
I'm surprised that there are so many european plyers on Bartz & Magmeld.
When merge was announced, i was afraid that these server players would overvote Shilen's players and oly & cs would move further into the night or even early morning next day.
So i was ready to vote for +0 to have at least some chance against -x players.
Seeing the current results, +1 was obvious choice since i'm +1 player.
Whatever the final result is, it would be nice to have a free(=no €/$ pay, no nccoins, 0 adena fee) transfer for unsatisfied players with the new timezone(since you are merging servers with very different timezones).
I agree, even if I would love GMT+1 there is person like you that would prefere something else.
So a simple Free Merge for all would be nice for those who picked any of these three server based on GMT.

I can add that I played on new Bartz server for allmost 3 years and few months ago me and few other CP members transfered to Shilen because Bartz is literally dead. Usually around 500 ppl online, from them half are boxes or bots, around 100 ppl are sellers in Aden town, so theres left around 150 real players who are active and thats is by far not enough for healthy server. So right no I'm playing on Shilen and there are 3 times more active players and ofcourse all of them will vote for GMT+1 beause majority are European players. Rumors say that Magmeld has the same situation as Bartz, but I can't confirm it. So stop QQ logicaly it will be GMT +1 server. In the end we will have two American time zone servers and two European servers.

Let us do so, not create a new server, frees accessible to transfer the players who are in Bartz, Magmeld and Shilen to transfer to Chronos and Naia, create clans these servers with their due and convey skills.
for all ppl who cry because of +1. yes i am European player and i woted for +1, but lets do a quick math, if oly cs and etc. in +0 at summer started 23.00h if you change timezones to +5 it would start 4.00 in the morning so how i should participate in it ? but if you played in -5 and oly started 22.00h in the evening as example if we change timezone to +1 it will start 16.00 so you can freely participate in it because i dont know to many ppl who have lessons college or work in sundays. and in the end for all who cry be happy they didnt make option to gtm+2 because a lot of European or Russian players would have woted for this timezone me included.
I found really annoying the fact that there is only 1 option for Euro players (wich make then unite at the time of votin) and 2 (even 3 for those insecure) for the rest of the players and that makes players to divide the number of votes at least in 2...

Diferent would be the situation where only 2 option are display lets say GTM+X & GMT-X. Start summing up those who votes for GTM-X and the number overcomes those from Europe! ! So if this is not already decided by GM's and this is not a circus so player's have a sense of participation i strongly recommend to re-THINK the hole poll! reality check is that you've got USA / Euro & Latin players spread over those 3 servers and when looking at the current voting results the Latin part is the least represented in the voting results so go work on that first..

As said before, many euro players chose bartz over naia cause when bartz opened was new server. I think the free transfer for main toons (97-99+), is the solution here, so ppl also dont exploit this and transfer low lvl toons with items

I agree with some others if you want to play at GMT +1 go transfer to Naia. I play on Bartz and a lot of people work during the day which is why we play on a server at this time frame. Put it to be fair someone in the middle don't make it near or the same as Naia's time.
In my opinion, the poll should be between the 3 existing time zones of the servers that will merge. (GMT +0, GMT -2 and GMT -5)

For the next 4 reasons:
1st Reason
GMT +1 and GMT +0 have just 1h difference.
There is no point to split the votes just for 1h. If GMT +1 option was not available, those who vote GMT +1 would vote GMT +0.
2nd Reason
There is already 1 Server (Naia) with time zone GMT +1.
After the merge, if the GMT +1 win the poll, new people will have less timezone options to decide what server they will choose.
Same applies if GMT -2 win the poll, since it will be like Chronos.
3rd Reason
If GMT +1 win the poll, Bartz people will be completely on different time zone since the difference from the current one will be 7hours!
Also, they will not be able to transfer somewhere else, since a server with similar timezone will not exist.
The same will be for Shillen members if GMT -5 wins. The only difference is that Shillen members will have the opportunity to transfer in a server with similar timezone. But why they have to pay the expensive transfer service...?
4th Reason
The fewer choices the more accurate poll, because the votes will not split for such small difference on time.

I am playing in Magmeld (GMT -2), i am European and the best for me would be GMT +0 (very close to GMT +1 which is 1st on votes)...
but i want to be fair with everyone also!
It would have been eassier to pick between: -5; -3; -1 & +1. 2h~ in between all.
Also it seems hard for other Players to believe that we got a tons of Greek/Eastern European Players playing on those three Servers. I know for a fact that Bartz originated from being a Greek/European based Server. Ofcourse alot of Players are voting GMT+1. Enigma Bartz in the beginning had 75% Players in Clan who are playing from the GMT+1/+2 Time Zones.
BusterCasey already said the L2 Team will consider the Top 2 Wins in this Vote. Most likely both Time Zones have to meet eachother half-way. The New Time Zone on the New Server will be GMT -1, if GMT -2 & GMT +1 win. Just saying. ;)

Well, I live in a -5 time zone and they told us to vote for the best time for us. But, should I have voted with some "tactic" in mind, I would have gone for -2 since is the strongest position of my block. I guess it's clear that the American continent is splitted between those 2 options,
Now I realize I can't change my vote and I'm stucked with a "dead vote". I just hope they take into account that -5 ppl would prefer -2 over +1 while making the final decision

I have been playing on Magmeld since server start 2011 and leading Prophecy since 2013.
I am daily active player. Don't wanna think about it how much time I've spent on this game :D.
Current situation on Magmeld is not good. There is maybe 200-300 daily active players + their alt characters + Bots.
Prophecy is mostly european clan. 90% members play in euro time zones.
Today we have 40+ REAL ACTIVE daily players and i'm pretty sure most of us going to vote GMT +1 or GMT +0.
So, stop crying, go and vote and let the best time zone win!

For you and others who say to Europeans to transfer to Naia just sen to my bank account money and i will gladly transfer there :) because server transfer cost money and not all players are donators, i started to play in shilen because it was new server not because it was best timezone for me, so now if i can change timezone for better i will change it.

Desyrel is right the choices should be somewhere between the current server times. Shilen is +0 Magmelt -2 and Bartz -5. Not sure why there are choices outside of these times and people are the majority of people are voting for Naia2. If you want to play at GMT+1 then please go server transfer to Naia.
In my opinion, the poll should be between the 3 existing time zones of the servers that will merge. (GMT +0, GMT -2 and GMT -5)

For the next 4 reasons:
1st Reason
GMT +1 and GMT +0 have just 1h difference.
There is no point to split the votes just for 1h. If GMT +1 option was not available, those who vote GMT +1 would vote GMT +0.
2nd Reason
There is already 1 Server (Naia) with time zone GMT +1.
After the merge, if the GMT +1 win the poll, new people will have less timezone options to decide what server they will choose.
Same applies if GMT -2 win the poll, since it will be like Chronos.
3rd Reason
If GMT +1 win the poll, Bartz people will be completely on different time zone since the difference from the current one will be 7hours!
Also, they will not be able to transfer somewhere else, since a server with similar timezone will not exist.
The same will be for Shillen members if GMT -5 wins. The only difference is that Shillen members will have the opportunity to transfer in a server with similar timezone. But why they have to pay the expensive transfer service...?
4th Reason
The fewer choices the more accurate poll, because the votes will not split for such small difference on time.

I am playing in Magmeld (GMT -2), i am European and the best for me would be GMT +0 (very close to GMT +1 which is 1st on votes)...
but i want to be fair with everyone also!

Dev team will make "deal" and pick "center", if win +1 will pick +0 as close vs -2, if win -2 will pick -1 as close to win side -2. My opinions is that because other way they will open full list of play time ...-5/-4/-3/-2/-1/0/+1/+2... but no they decide to jump to may calculate after and say we made time to try help to all not just to win time.

Not sure what you're about as the game servers can handle 5.8k players no problem and ~50% of the current active players from Bartz/Shilien/Magmeld are not 2.5K so neither Naia or Chronos will get past the 5k mark if this were to happen..
the only time the game servers had issues was when they were set on max 6.3k players and during open beta/prelude when there were only 3 servers for 40+k player base.. ah those good ol NET CON days lolz..

bro you forget one big part, clan leader not may transfer clan, so what is that suggestion to all clans get delete... if they total close this 3 servers need 1th to merge all 5 in 1 server and then total setup all clans/castles/clan halls... why to delete something what ppl made this 4,5 years? even before pre GOD all old servers got merge to naia/chronos not delete...
ps: and if ask me maybe this need to made, all servers in one, as europe L2, we will see then how much players play in NCWest and how much clans may survive that, who will be best clan and who will kill dragons, *** dim server, give reword to castles in that one server and will be pvp to end game!!!

So what you think is fair is put the new time outside of what the current 3 server times are so that it is a euro server? Does any of the 3 servers being merged currently play at GMT+1? If one did then I could understand this time being a valid choice but none do.

If it ended up being gmt -2 or gmt-3 that would be in the middle of the current servers time. Wouldn't that be the right thing to do for all the players of these 3 servers? well I may tell you for me. I start here when 3 new servers was up. when game become f2p with GOD update in Dec 2011. In that time eu core server not was on. all big boys from pre-god time in ncwest was merge in chronos/naia. So me and my friends come from private servers to ncwest as new ppl in new server. Time was no problem because after that server's was in vote as now in forum and in that time in web. http://www.lineage2.com/en/news/events/vote-on-siege-times.php
And look in game, magmeld and bartz are -2/-5 zone and have less players form shilen who is alone in +0. So that talk how much players are active in this 2 servers. if some1 like farm alone nc servers are not spot. here need more ppl in one place...

No it's not. If you dont want to consider it, is just fine. The fact is that the poll is biased... It's not our fault to have a -5/-2 GMT timezone, nor its yours (to have +0/+1), its the fact that they want to merge Shilen with Magmeld/Bartz just because their low population... Also they want to give us the responsability to choose between timezones and deal with the consequeces..

If you see vs Zaken server yes, is not older but vs shilen/magmeld/bartz Core server is open some week's after and if look the you may free transfer from chronos/naia that mean the NCWest is 7 years old from Eu L2 server.
When this 3 servers was open there not was server time (oly/cs) for more of 2 months. In that time many ppl made chars and when servers got time (-5/-2/0) not used option for free transfer what we got to go in other server. Talk why you not go is invalid, that happen in ~ tauti update apr/may 2012. from that time till now pass 4 years and many stuffs happen so even if we not wanted change time zone in 2012 maybe want now if NCWest give option to vote. So if they give us chance to vote we more like to change a bit zone and you not may talk the we not have right in that. This 3 servers have more EU players from NA/SA and is fact, if you not believe is your problem but stats say other. Ask NCWest to see in log of IP and they may tell you more of 50% EU from all other in this 3 servers and I believe the even in Chronos+Naia is more EU ppl in %.

I come as new char in new server w/o set time in dec 2011. When was vote my server got -2, I sty to play in that time. Now we all got option to vote for new time. What is wrong if I not like this time what is same with Chornos atm and like time what is same/more close to for one of servers from this 3 what entering in merge. Tell me that?

Gm's and NCSoft must look the ip from all voters .

End new ID was not possible to make all this time but now is system work perfect, authorization mail coming 1 sec after create ID.
You not even need dynamic IP, just another mail. Log in, vote, log off, log with another, vote, log off...

if it was as you think then magmeld + bartz will have much more players vs shilen but together they still have less form shilen who is 90% EU players. If we see the atm in Magmeld is more of 100 activ players from europe and there is some in bartz also sure the voting with 160+ fantoms in less of 2h is not real situation. As I say this voting become nonsense in moment when they set forum system to send activation mail to all new reg ID instead was blocked last 7+ days.

I checked the poll votes and saw 91 new votes from the same IP address for GMT-2. These have been removed as well as the user involved. I will post more details later about the poll results.

I'm sure they did the same thing when they voted to gmt + 1 ... several people used the same ip address! And you're not going to do anything? :eek::eek:
