A lot of times, so many people underestimate the great benefits of Lineage2 and it really bothers me! I mean, for chirst's sake! So here I am again to show you ALL the great benefits of Lineage2 once and for all! and you know something? You don't even have to thank me! I do it for you for free~:) LOL
1. L2 teaches us why Gambling is BAD: Gambling in Real life with Real money can lead to a total catastrophe. If you gamble in real life and become an addict, you are gonna lose all your money, your job, your house and eventually your wife...making you penniless and alone in this cold world. However, the way how L2 Nstore promos and events are designed teaches us this important lesson in life for just a couple of hundred bucks! I am not a gambler in real life but Lineage2 has taught me why gambling is bad and I'd like to thank NC for this!
2. L2 teaches us some true nature of human beings: There is a Swedish proverb, "Shared joy is a double joy; shared sorrow is half sorrow,” which sounds so nice and wonderful; but as you discover while playing L2, totally not true. If you share your joy, most people will just be jealous and ridicule you, make fun of you, or try to take advantage of you. If you share your sorrow, they will use it as your weakness and exploit it later. This sad & dark nature of people teaches us the True value of family and real friends. It's quite funny to see the sheer number of people taking pleasure in watching other people suffer.
3. Nothing in your Life will change until you change it: Everything in your L2 account becomes frozen once you log out. It doesn't matter how long you've been playing Lineage2. If you haven't done anything with your toon, nothing will change. The level will stay the same and items will stay the same. If you want to make a change in your character, you must do it yourself.
This lesson can also be applied to real life, too. It's not how long you've lived your life with the auto-pilot mentality, it's the number of days spent with fulfillment. At the end of each day, just ask yourself, "What did I do today?"
4. You are responsible for everything: The game has so many bugs, imperfections, errors and logical pit-falls, that it's so easy to lose everything in a blink of an eye! LOL; and all the choices we make in L2 are irreversible, too! It teaches us the true meaning of the word, DECISION. If you take a look at the word parts, DE = away, CISION = CUT. Decision literally means Cut Away. Once you make a decision, you are cutting away your past away from the New Chosen path. Once you cut, there is no going back. It's done and final. The imperfections actually guide us to be responsible adults.
5. Life is short and each day is not forever: we only have limited time and energy we can spend per day. Each day happens only once in your life. Once your day is gone, it's gone forever. Most people playing Lineage2 are in their 30s and 40s, considering how old the game is, so you must be careful how you choose to spend your time. The leveling and gearing a toon in L2 is so hard, it pretty much forces us to concentrate our focus if we ever wanna achieve anything meaning in the game.
6. Happiness is in your mind: It doesn't matter what level you are and what gears you have, there will always be someone better than you. As long as you compare, you will always be unhappy. Stop comparing and just try to be better today than yesterday. You will soon learn to know the true meaning of eternal happiness and grow out of homeless-Man-Mentality, i.e. other people are not responsible for your problem, you are the one who's responsible for your problem. (Now you may call me Mr.DalaiLamaDreamSeekerGuy! YW)
7. Customer is only a customer when they pay: If you are a paying customer then Speak your thoughts! They will listen! but make sure you pay LOL! Sadly, for those of you who don't pay at all, your opinions are none-existent.
I always ask myself 'what did i do today' while writing a request to ban me from a local casino and simultaneously trying to get last hit on the mob thats being hit by 60 double dipping nc orcs in sea of spores. Hi its me your brother I paid 10 dolla pls ban bots sir my opinion matters.

Is this a prelude to a big "I quit" post? I'm just saying...I've thought a lot of what you're saying here for years and I'm sure many others have as well. Nice post opening up your real thoughts on things. Much more acceptable than all your old **** you used to spit out. Honestly, it's a game, and not really worth quitting. But something to be put on a shelf from time to time when the ridiculousness catches up and we need a break. Come back to it when we want it, not when it wants us. This shouldn't be a place to dump money into, but an escape from reality. A place of enjoyment, not work. It ain't going nowhere no matter what we do or pay into it, so take it for what it is. A game. Real life's out there waiting for us. Nice post, I pee'd a little.

Some good points, on this one though, they have never listened. I paid for years, and was one of many ignored when we requested they manage this game responsibly.

And as you finished your thought , logged back in game to hurry up with farming.
Anyway , confesion is the first step. Keep on trying !!
since when a game will be same as real life? Some people wake up and go right to game. Go to work and think about game. Come home from work and get right on game. Go to bed and think about game. While sleeping, they dream about game. So to crazies like that (yes there are many), a lot of them will associate things in L2 with real life, and real life with L2. It's weird, but true. All depends on how you associate everything.
:D:D:D
i prefer allready to go fishing man after 4 years of playng
on naya server, When i started i was playng all day long grinding alone on may dager to make lvls, first was gouwl to rich lvl 90 then 95 then 99 and in last 100, to be able to fight other big chars. And when you rich 100 and a bot comes with a foeh lvl 93 in a tw set+6 and killes you in olympiad, i tell you i prefer going out in real life with may gang, to some forgoted place and fish make some nice barbeques, and dont care about this game any more cas is not warthy. Gear lvl dosent mater any more, any idiot with 10 euros in hes poket can aford to use 3rd soft, best part is that in oly ceremony of chaos they cant be reported. maibe in seiges they can. but even then dosent mater, GM suport tehnic, Devs, shown us in past years that they dont care. So beter Fishing:rolleyes:
Point 2: you play with the wrong ppl., definitley.
I am just having a little bit of fun here. :) I must confess I like analyzing and philosophizing everything I do and everything around me, not just L2. Personal hobby I'd like to call it. I am a fast typist too. It took me little over 10 minutes to come up with the above post.

Moderation is the Key, I agree. But sometimes, some of us have the need to be engrossed in the game and forget about the reality,
a escapism really...We only hope it's just a phase in life and not permanent.
I am just curious. How many angry mothers do we have in the forum? Cuz a lot of times I feel like I am their main target!
For all you angry mothers out there who are just tired of yelling at their son playing video games in the basement, never getting a job, going to school, or even leaving the house...I want you to know it's not my fault!
Sure enough! the game has the element of addictiveness but it's not the main cause of your son's Never Leaving the House. The real reason why your son is addicted to a video game like Lineage2 is because of YOU! You didn't raise your son as an independent individual! but instead you've been raising him by yelling at him and telling him what to do ALL THE TIME, instead of gently guiding him to do things on his own.
Life is so simple. Just make a plan and actualize the plan! It's as easy as that! But sadly your son never had the opportunity to think anything on his own to act on his own. The sad part is...your son doesn't even know what he wants...He doesn't even know what kind of job he wants or the things he likes in life. But no worries, everything in life has its time and he will eventually realize the truth and wake up from his dream.
