Is this item obtainable for any normal player? Seems that it is only available to a select few who have stuck around. I dont have a problem with unique items for long term players, but these are unique items that have ramifications on the entire game both PvE and PvP.

Currently, it is only available through the 12th year Veteran Pack.

I have shadow duals with Earth, is it possible to change the duals element to fire or do i have to remove the element? Since attribute stones dont work on shadow weapons.

You will need to have fire on the weapon by removing the Earth element. Attribute stones will work on the Final Shadow Weapon and the skill is a toggle with no cool down.

they cant even get 1 year pack since ertheia was introduced last year ....

the Veteran packs are rewards for those hardcore enough to stick play with their original chars for all this time so please get over yourself if you can't acknowledge that simple fact.
also even though the valakas agathion is ofc very cute but the skill it gives is actually worse then a 5 star fish agathion so relax lol..
now on the cuteness level I'm so not sure as to at which level I will stop cause the 7th level isn't as cute as the rest imo :)

12 year veterans are unable to claim the 12 year reward because they claimed the 11 year reward?

No. If you claimed the 11 year reward last year, you won't be able to claim the 11 year reward again this year. But you can claim the 12 year reward.

The skills you listed above shows that it is 'for 1 hour', which would not be a toggle skill.

I wish u answer me because the GMT + 1 was chosen on the junction of three servers that do not have this GMT, and the vote was 54.41% compared to GMT + 1, already asked this question in other posts but you guys do not respond, many players of Barts, Magmeld and Shilen vain to stop playing because not may participate in the server events.
Another thing when will be installed the new antibot, thought to change pro chronos, I created a character in chronos and realized why the server is always full, is because every orcbot created in Shilen 10 are created in chronos.
Place to be voted the new schedule between server GMT-1 and GMT-3, as well as new players have more options to choose the time to get on a server.

it's about character creation date /mybirthday ingame and you will see so not account creation date.. no way thus that anyone on Zaken server can claim anything from the 10+ years rewards.. just login the first char you created back then and you can ;)

Just one suggestion, would be cool if it had an active skill kind of like Mysterious Power for outside CoC where you could one shot lethal someone? With maybe a 30 second cooldown just to keep the game balanced. Would really help me as a tank, as I only have 7 PvP points after 12 years...

My oldest character was created June 4, 2004. And because of that < 60 day difference, I can't purchase the Agathion either. The Valakas Agathion sounds pretty cool. Thanks for letting me know what I'm missing out on through no fault of my own. These anniversaries really blow chunks. :D

September '04 for me, so yeah makes ya feel kinda left out huh? I get it though, it's not that we're missing out, we just aren't eligible. Can't be mad cuz we made our characters later than the eligible date. Oh well, I'm not playing enough the last couple weeks to care anyways....just not feeling it.

If they wanted to, they could make the eligibility range period with start date of January 1, 2004 and end 12/31/2004, that way anyone who came to L2 in 2004 could get the Valakas agathion. There can't be that many of you old farts left, right? :)
Doubt this game will survive another year, just sayin...
I've been hearing that since C1. The grind was so ridiculous, deaths came easy, and dropping items on death made a few friends of mine quit outright. As the game is designed now, there are really only 2 things that will shudder it: (1.) the company deciding that it no longer wants to support it, or (2.) a bot apocalypse and population explosion whereby 99.5% of all characters that log in are automated characters who don't buy ncoin or account services at all. The parasites will have won.
Veteran rewards are not veteran oriented. They are character oriented. What a huge oversight by NC. Don't you think MAYBE people like me who made their account during open beta and played for over 12 years by now MIGHT have rerolled a few times, deleting a character or two? You limited the number of characters you could have on one account/server but have a multitude of races and classes, many of which were not available in the early years and subclassing didn't come until much later. You don't think the real veterans deserve to be eligible for the VETERAN REWARDS? I want to know WHO made the decision to make veteran rewards character creation date based rather than ACCOUNT based, because that person is a moron.

Same, but I deleted my first character because I rerolled after going perma red. They didn't start cleansing karma on big updates until much, much later. My account was created same day as yours and I cannot claim my reward. It makes no sense to have it character based.

Or nothing at all, because of the poorly conceived decisions of whatever team is responsible for actual veterans not being eligible for the rewards associated with them.

So... you either don't claim it never at all because each year there are better items or you do claim in in any random year of your choice and won't be able to ever claim it again?
Here we are another year, and I still cannot claim my Valakas agathion. Veteran rewards? I've been here since day 1 open beta and can't claim some items because i deleted a few characters. If we would have known there would be rewards for saving crappy old mistake characters or perma reds, we would not have deleted them. The rewards should be account creation based, since that more accurately reflects when an actual player started playing. The characters come and go but the player is the same. Why can't you guys fix this? Or why WON'T you. Not even a response... Well, Buster, here is your opportunity to shine...
Anyone got involve a valakas agathion to level 7 yet? I got mine lvl 6 and I think its cute than lvl 7 or just the picture of BusterCasey (http://boards.lineage2.com/member.php?u=247542) not so clear. :p
