It's been too long since the R99 and the Bloody/Dark gears came out and I hear some people wanting NEW Weapons and Armors higher than R99 in the game. Personally, I don't know if it's a good thing though, since a lot of people in the game still don't even have the basic proper R99 gears, not to mention bloody or dark. Also, if this happens, it's gonna make a lot of major Ncoin spenders upset, since the new gears can only mean devaluation of their existing OE Bloody or Dark weapons&Armors.
I'd just like to know what other people think on this matter.

we'll see most likely first some red glow oe armor 15+ effect bonus before any new armor/weapons
but hey we do get some new epics in Helios update of which 1 super duper insane over the top one but you don't want to know how hard it will be to get those, slightly easier then high grade dragon weapons

Yes, I agree we DO NOT have the direct control over the course of any change in Lineage2. A couple things people need to understand is that...
1. L2 is an old vantage game Hand-Written! Making any change in L2 means someone will actually have to type the program code line-by-line. I think this explains why we get bugs after each update and why making any change takes so long.
2. Most of the time, people make conflicting demands or the demands they make is not in favor of L2's longevity.
They read and listen, it's just that...they cannot give us much IMMEDIATE attention whenever we ask for it. But if enough people call for it, ask for it, give good supporting reasons for it, It Can HAPPEN! (in months...LOL)
I don't think things will change and I'm ok with that, but it would be nice to have more choices. Even if there are a little better or the same stats. I just got to 99 and it took me a long time to get what R99 stuff I have and only for one toon so far.
The main reason people don't want new armor in game is because they've invested so much time/resources and $ into creating their PvP and PvE sets that any new additions would destroy their current sets value.
Imagine having farmed Gainak with your clan for years to get full dark set CPs, only to either refarm is over again or find out all that hard work and now your set is useless because of R99Z Armor that can be automaticall have PvP/PVE attributes bestowed on it through blacksmith.

I think this is where NC made a mistake. PvP/PvE armor/wep modifications should have been through farming other mats, and not stones. For example, some other item that could have been obtained via questing (alot of questing) or farming mobs available to more than just top pvp clans.
The set would still be valuable, and more people would be able to obtain it.

Well, I think most Legit HardCore Players are around LvL 102-103 in the NCwest so far. What I am saying here is for the distant future like
1 year or 2 years from now. With the coming Helios Update, most hardcore players should be able to hit Level 105 by the end of this year...
well, learn to talk in korean, travel in korea, get net and log in KL2 and there suggest this :)

I don't have to. The Koreans in NCwest are already doing the job for me. Just look at the fact that we haven't had ONE SINGLE Weekend Flash sale this year, compared to countless weekend flash sales last year. All we have at the moment is the vitality and cosmetic stuff so far! Just what I've been asking for, for months! But then again...we might have a storm coming...LOL who knows?
You must know that korean players have just had this poll if they will release the lindvior set and weapon. Well lindvior weapon is not a dragon weapon.. kinda lesser.. and you know what happened 90% opposed. So whats in korea's content will be the same here with a little bit of localization..

This was why one of the many reasons that NCWest decided to put L2 as Free-to-Play game.
When they decided to put a number of sets, as Moirai, Vorpal and Elegia at once (say, in a short time) it was enough for many players to lose heart time and consequently fail to play the L2. Or the fact of having many sets as well, to leave such sets how the players would like to see became something very discouraging.
Although the beginning of the Goddess of Destruction, as pre-existing sets options (Immortal, Twilight, Seraph and Eternal) was a dilemma over in detaching the previous sets of older players servers as Chronos and Naia, sub-dividing them by grade R, R95 and R99 proved efficient formula.
So, I do not see that Koreans want to make the same mistake that was made earlier.

Actually, I knew about the similar type of survey already done in Korea, something I heard from the other Korean dude at the forum, guy named Yidao I think. I was just wondering about what people on NCwest also think about the issue. Yeah I don't think what I do here matters a lot by itself but believe me or not, everything counts in real life. Are you familiar with the 'butterfly effect' in Chaos theory? Basically, fluttering wings of a butterfly in New York, United States can cause a gigantic storm in Japan! LOL Well, maybe I am assuming a lot more credit than I actually deserve. I kinda already know what things are gonna be like for this year of L2 but what I am wondering at the moment is the future 2-3 years from now.
Man you forgot another option to the pole ....10% of ppl have PVP/PVE sets ....new people cant make .... we need more accessability to them ... does not help on one side servers like Naia too ..when small amount of people control all market and all drops ..not to mention one clan is trying to take all castles ...
+ that ncsoft policy against bots its destroying this game ...nc soft policy make nothing drop so bots cant get anything ...this is wrong it affects normal people and new people ...

it is nice idea but the problem is that game developers are all in Korea so if Koreans dont add new items so we dont get them to becouse evry update we get here is alredy half year released there. so in the end we wont get exlusive guns and armors just for us :)

Did you know in Korean servers, they don't have the ABUNDANCE Talisman?
Yep, that's right! Only in NCwest we have the abundance. So, you can't really say for sure. If NCsoft has got Lindvior gears already all designed and tested then I think NCwest could be their prime target for testing.
