Hi All,
I've heard a story which seems pretty weird to me but maybe i'm just too naive.
A friend told me many years ago, he started to make Pk raids with others chaotics to kill bots who's already disturbed the game. It work for few moments but my friend received many complaints From The Bots !
And his account was banned because of them !!!
(official reason was: infraction of L2 rules^^)
I've read many threads here about bots, about the Gm telling us how to report them and how the one's who's take the time to do that never obtain satisfaction.
More, the fact is this problem should be solved since many years now and we always have the promise that it will be solve "one day"
So got simple questions :
- Why the administration don't ban Bots Accounts but ban real players accounts?? What purposes for this bot activity support ?
- In your opinion why my friend was banned? Which rules he had broke ?
- Doing chaotic Rogues to Pk bots on our way is it a solution on the long term?
Cause we can't just sit, look and accept that bots drop R95 Items or other grades in some places. Some actions have to be try.
(Ps 4 Botters: be sure i'll restart other accounts to Pk your F* hass if i'm ban one day;))

Solution for what? How to kill your free time?
PKing low levels is pointless since they lose nothing and will be back in few seconds, lots of them. What you want here? Stay in location 24/7?
PKing high lvls is useless too since bot owners come soon and kill you in turn. They monitor chars almost 24/7.
Or may be bots even kill you right on the spot, very often bots can auto detect PK and kill it easily, since you are alone and they are full party and I bet you will not put top gear on that PK character.
Anyway, PKing bots is quite pointless and is waste of time.

Imho the only way to sell passes (say kartia nmkama and the like) is to literally saturate every open space in the L2 world. First came the orcs till 52, then the ertheia summoners from 85 and above and now the de summoners from 53 to 84. Gratz. Greed has always been a bad thing.
The only thing that i don't understand is that if some1 wants to earn money from the legit players he/she can't make the customers' clients lag as hell with all those toons (they aren't bots since the routine they do is too complex for a progr).
Remember the chinese farmers in the early 2005s? Prolly some poor kids from eastern europe or the like is what u call a bot player. Just 100 or more ppl in a room with tons of clients opened. Gratz again u have obtained a lagged server x 4 with the upcoming merge.
If some1 thinks that he/she wants money from others he/she has to ensure a proper service not a lagged one.
If not there are tons of new games that cost like 1 week 200% exp rune.
If the steep penalties for PK would be removed I would actually from time to time wipe out all bots np but such thing will be easily exploited as all top pvp end game clans will just kill anyone they feel like the same way too ^^"
btw with the current PK penalties do NOT get more then 3pk's unless you've got no valuable augments/gear to loose.. I talk from personal experience here after loosing active reflect augment 2x this way..

when char dies the l2 window start flashing or he has an alarm and he will check it out. meanwhile u can do w/e **** u want with bots untill they die he wont see a ****.
