After banning scripters, we need expect next step.
Lets ban all RMT ebuyers, with deleting ebuyed gear and adena of course.
:p
And if player was buying RMT adena or items for long and with big amount, lets close his account permanently. :D
Want to see comments from all this handles ebuyers. :)
Ban all rmt players = ban players with money. If this ncsoft will do l2 will end sooner than u think. Ncsoft need players who invest real money into this game. Only real solution is to get rid of bots. That means no rmt cuz there will be no money to buy or sell via rmt. Then ncsoft will get much more money and players cuz bots will be dead.
Buy Ncoins and sell to other players for adena or buy adena with RMT from traders is BIG BIG DIFFERENCE.
When you buy ncoins, you make NCSoft happy.
When you buy adena from traders, you make happy all adena farmers, who 99% are bots. So you make sad NCSoft, make botters happy, more botters, more bot trains, all players upset, more people quit and so on. Also RMT botters use part of money to by NCoins and they are welcome to VIP club.
NCsoft need fight agains RMT and start ban not only farmers , but also RMT buyers.
Interesting to read all comments from RMT dealers :)
Problem #1: ADENA/GOLD Costs Are Too High (Adena/Gold Sinks)
Think of all the reasons you need gold in this game. Enchanting skills, teleports, shop materials, upgrades at the Blacksmith of Mammon, Merchant of Mammon materials, skill changes, sub/dual certificate changes, grease for player trades, clan hall fees, etc. . .
There are A LOT of gold sinks in this game for the average player who:
a) Doesn't get to enjoy drops when supporting the hero CPs killing epic raids/dragons
b) Doesn't engage in RMT
c) Doesn't sell NC Coin, cause **** NC Soft's ruinous greed
As such the rate of gold income is rather slow and the outflow of gold moderately high. This is the primary reason people RMT in the first place. They want to be able to, if not be ultra competitive, they don't want to get left behind either. I am one of those who have been left behind.
I am not part of any pvp hero CP's "in crowd", I refuse to engage in RMT, and I avoid buying NC Coin as much as I possibly can (I did get enough to get some emerald weapon skins, those are a GOOD reason to buy NC Coin and not all the pay to win bulls***). While I am not a clan leader keeping up a clan hall, there are the expenses of porting about, replacing SOE's, replacing soulshot expended, and of course, saving up gold to acquire better gear down road once I am 99+ (Currently 97).
Problem #2: ADENA/GOLD Drop Rate Too Low for Market and Gold Sink Requirements
This goes hand in hand with the first problem and adjusting one, can potentially alleviate both. Gold drop rates have been nerfed into oblivion. So have crafting material drop rates. The low drop rates, combined with heavy gold sinks have meant that the journey to a true end game VIABLE status, that is able to contribute meaningfully to epic raids/dragons and top end pvp, has been very very slow for honest players.
Solution: (Best I Have Been Able to Devise, Perhaps Someone Has Better)
Adjust the gold sinks in this game to be MUCH more closely in line with current rates of NATURAL gold income. A healthy game economy should aim to be either gold neutral or have, at best, 2-3% inflation each year if gear/content remains static.
Give a modest boost to gold drops everywhere. You don't need monsters dropping 50,000 gold every time you kill one, but they SHOULD drop enough to cover the cost of soulshots + say a 5-10% profit margin. Costs of shots should be based on NPC prices to buy crystals and soul ore, and a crafting cost of 1 adena from guild/clan/friend/alt dwarf crafters.
Finally, bring back the natural crafting material drops. Add in modestly easy means of getting crafting key mats and recipes. Assume a moderate playing schedule of 3 hrs/day 4 days/week. People do have lives, work, school and such to worry about too. That is 12 hours per week of game time. Now such quests should aim to provide 1 recipe or say 50% of needed crafting item key materials per week with such an allotted play time.
This keeps it moderately casually friendly, yet also rewards the power gamer who can afford to invest significantly more time.
This brings down the need for vast sums of gold, while increasing the rate of gold income. The result is that people WON'T feel any need to resort to RMT to remedy flaws in the game's design with regards to the economy and gold sinks.
As to NC Coin, that is a whole different can of problems that I don't care to address at this time.
Forgot about this, in World of Warcraft, there is a gold cap per toon. Perhaps something similar can help reduce how much gold people can keep on them? I realize that people can always make more accounts, however, managing many accounts can be become quite the chore.
what the ebuyer stands for ? Laptops, toners, ink, desktop PCs, tablet PCs, televisions, office supplies, electronics and technology for home and business users from Ebuyer.com.
So you want to ban those who buy products from a company like that?
