Nope, not the end, maybe soon we even can say this time was the rebirth of legit L2, so if anything this is more like a new beginning.
I am hoping for perma-bands w/next banwave round that should be incoming soon.

The next big update after Helios will be Grand Crusade, around 6 - 10 months in the future. So no need to worry about doomsday ;)

Why are u so worried about that? Just go to harnak, Fairy, GoG and SoS and ask the bots to do istances with u. They will be more than happy to help u out with that :D L2 became their own world so let them do istances, buy crappy abu boxes, do libra's quest and bla, bla, bla.

Okay i should've wrote it "Now they stop playing, because the bots getting banned slowly" my mistake. But the bots don't bother me anyway HA ! I'm leveling sometimes low level characters and i see them around.

Ppl stop playing because the server lags like h...l and because I'm spending more time trying to log into game ( because of the multiple disconnects) second
The lag in game in insane yesterday I was doing af and healer started to lag for no reason . His internet is extremely good . We all died and lost the instance . Second instance k 99 again lags were coming iss was lagging we had no sonatas some dds were lagging . And it goes like that for hours . Every time a different player will be lagging . Not to mention how disturbing is this when you try to pvp and you just happen to lag ..... One of my clan members yesterday after he lagged at parnasus ( doing pvp ) rage quited he is coming after new patch . Today I just lost k99 after server went down I quit . Allso coming after new patch there are other games I'm going to stick with who already started to interest me more . I made this post not w8ing for ppl to say there theories like new era of l2 after 12 years of existence and we are having ddos atacks . If they can't manage solving major problems that affect the gameplay and the quality of the game they should better say WE CLOSE THE SHOP !!! End of story .

Yeah, i've witness some high lags after last maintenance. Sometimes few seconds and sometimes over 1 minute while my internet is super cool, but happening ones per day or twice rarely.

NAIA is light chronos is medium - heavy if you were playing on cp and you would go with low gear to do af and af xp you would feel me . My gear is low I have never bought adena . I have more that 10 accounts and play from the very beginning of l2 . I have supported the game with any way I could . And I feel the energy I have speeded for that game is just not reflecting back . This game just keep peas...ing me off with any possible way they can come up with . In the end I don't care if there are bots if there is pay 2 win I care about logging into game and not being able to enjoy it . Thanks
For me l2 (on ncwest) is dying. Never saw in 12 years a server that has more than 90% characters online bots. Some weeks ago when they did gameguard update. There was 1 day without bots and server population was 300-350 players max. Now we are back to 2500-3000 after that impressive ban wave Wow?. Where is the ban for those bots? Every day when i log in i see the same bots at same place. So if before helios is launchend nc doesn't perma ban all those bots and take measures to prevent they come back again when they please for me and for the rest of legit players should be the end of l2 in these servers. Just bots and cheaters will remain on this dead game. 2 Weeks remain to know if it's time to move or stay.

I was going to quit if anti bot doesn't work and well known pvp scripters ( I dont give a **** about orcs running around in WOA) don't start receiving bans. Last Friday was a start, and we will see if it continues. If those bans aren't followed up with perma bans next time for those caught again, I am done with game. Game will be shut down in 2017 anyways, so it would be easy to quit in the next few weeks depending on upcoming ban waves (if any).

I heard the game is dead since 2006.
Revenue is fine, NCW is running L2 with minimal resources, new update is already live in Korea and some new features (Arena) are highly acclaimed from what I hear.
So: Nope it will not shut down in 2017. L1 is years older and still running just fine.
