I'm f'ing lost. Haven't played since around the time dynasty and such came out as top gear. What sites are current for info on crafting, drops, spoils, quests... as always l2 official site has zero in depth details.
What the hell does a brand new player do these days to learn the game, and I want to be a fiend and look up stuff to do, and ways to make all teh adenas while im bored at work ??

Ask questions here and you will have answers. Majority of the sites are currently useless cause NCWest decreased drop on purpose to fight bots.
I know sounds like really bad approach but it is what it is and it will be fixed in the long run.
To make adena you need to be creative as there are many ways but unfortunately the old one to ist in town and craft shots will be the last option to gear up your 100lv toon in the future.

I'm trying to figure this out myself too. I recently returned after a few years hiatus much like you.
L2wiki.com tends to have fairly accurate information for me so far. So far being low 90s at highest.
The biggest kick in the pants for me is that you will get crap B item drops (zubei pants etc) in lvl +85 areas. I just sell them to a NPC in a zero tax town for just under 100k ea. As the crystals seem to have no real value.
