when I try to log in, more then half the time I get to the page where my toons should be but it's blank and locks up. I have to force close it, log again, at which time it tells me acct is already in use, so I have to force close again and try all over. Any suggestions on what could cause this? Sometimes it takes 6-10 tries to log in. Thanks for any help.
Im not saying this happened to me (lol) but, check which server u are entering, cuz the list changes order and leaves on top the one that u last logged in, so perhaps u are logging to the first server without looking and it changed order and u have to enter another.

Happens to me too. Of course it is not about "bot" or PC power or wrong server choice. Looks like just another game bug, due to poor development.
But not 6-10 times... I log account, this dead blank screen with Tavern background appears, I had to kill process through task manager since it is impossible to close. Then I log again - game mumbles "acc in use", close client, and then account log in normally. Or... wait few mins until account logout(if you are not in a hurry) and enter game without "account in use" error. Annoying.
Lucky, it is not that often, comparing with other bug(which happens at least once each day) when char get d/c right during char select and then you can not use Wondrous Cubic - game says it has just been used! Ridiculous!
