hi everyone, made this post to talk about some things i saw happening those weeks. We all know that botters are the cancer of this game, destroying our ingame experience at pvp (mostly), pve and they made thousands of people quit this game or move to other private servers. Ncwest lost lots of players (aka money) because of them but the funny thing is that they think that those botters must be protected (wtf!) so money can continue flow (wtf!!). Its like someone stole my house and after i left the door open again so he can steal again in order to keep me rich (does it make any sence ? well for ncwest it does). Those botters dont donate at all, they farm 24/7 botted adena and do rmt. Soooo seems noone from ncwest ever played this game to understand whats really going on... And by ''protected'' i mean the 3-5 days ban you did, it was like you said them "hey, bot all day if you want, we will just ban you for 3 days to show people we are trying and thats all, if you want avoid ban sign olympiad 1h after it starts and you will be safe''... Okkkk lets say you really want to fight cheating, can some gm come here and tell me 1 thing ?
Why bans are not permanent? Many people who did far less damage at game than other top botters got permanent ban in past, why those now got only 3-5 days?? except that its unfair, 1 of those clans (at naia) got all castles except 1 at last siege with alt clans just to show that they can do whatever the %#ck they want in this server. gz ncwest ...
Except that, everyone will continue botting now and even more will start just because they know they dont risk anything, their char will be banned for 3 days so what to loose?.. I cant say if you trolling us or you are really so useless as you show ... i guess the 1st... or maybe you want us all to start botting? well dunno if you ever played a game, but except rmters and special kids, no normal brain functioned guy like watching automated moving pictures on his pc screen (except if it is a movie ofc)

Seems a lot of you "legits" still aren't getting it. There are several...shall I say levels..of cheating. You can't compare the thousand orc adena bots to the people who rmt, to the people who run only radar to the people who bot 24/7 xp to 105 to the people who are full pvp script. Petty theft isn't the same as murder! Saying the top clans just farm adena for their gear,well, maybe some do, but a lot are doing well in real life and just buy it. When I go to game stop, I don't buy an ncoin card, I buy ALL the cards. Then if I need, I go across town and buy all those too. Most who claimed to quit because of 'bots' were gonna quit anyways, or they would of found a way to enjoy the game around the 'bots' like the rest of us.
I remember some time ago there was a 6 month ban for using a 3rd party application in World of Warcraft. Blizzard took a hard stance and it really paid off to keep their servers under control. I haven't heard much on their community forums since then but who knows, maybe it still exists.
3-5 day bans is nothing and it shows a much softer stance NCSoft takes when it comes to dealing with automation. They proved to us that they have the tools to detect and they know who is doing it. It feels like kindergarten over here. Violators! Prepare to have the backs of your hands slapped!
Problem is that this last few bas was auto detection bans, and I know few people who swear that they was banned by mistake, and I believe them, because know for long.
Also, they was banning only z ranger users, even if they use it only as proxy, at same time all spots were still full of real bots.
There are many level of cheating, and if you notice, top cheaters clan not banned... Only noob cheaters banned.
On my opinion, RMT adena farmers/sellers biggest problem. But they dont use ranger, they farming from their own soft. Also, some legits also farming with hands and still selling adena.
new anti bot system is a joke. Server is full of orc bots, ertheia summoners,soa bots farming elemental energies, and those pvp bots. Tomorrow helios patch nice wellcome to "possible new players" that come back to this game. They will have nice company while exping in open areas with all those bots.

rmt who cares shouldnt even get ban for it.
radar > perma ban
bot in pve > perma ban
script in pvp > perma ban
there u go last 3 things all come from same **** more or less..
how u figure out if im only using radar and no scripts? or if im only using it in pve to lvl?

ncwest cant perma ban all zr users, because majority of ncwest players use(d) it thus if they did perma ban to every1 they would have killed their own milk cow game

I haven't found any pve bot (orcs with weird names and summoners and kamaels.. etc) in swampland, sea of spores (which used to be full of orcs), etc. I HAVEN'T FOUND THEM! THANKS YOU NCSOFT! KEEP BANNING THE BOTS! :*
read the below link, understand how big data analytics work and understand that the only reason those pesky rmt bots are still around is cause it takes a few days to get enough data to ban and in that time the rmt crew will just auto load new bots.. obviously that ain't going to fly for pvp scripters..

You put everywhere ingame, on login screen and here on forum that you fight with bots, rmt, and 3rd programs users. You proubly anounce how many bots you stoped every maintance or month.
So far i thought that you simply dont have good method to know who is 3rd party program cheater. But you clearly show that you can. And even though you still give them only a warning message.
I cant believe it, im playing here for a couple of years never doing anything against eula, every maintance hopeing that you finally clear this game, witch is a game of my childhood and why im still here. But in a moment when you can and should do it you are telling me in face that i was stupid to be fair. THat being agains rules in this game is allowed and you will be warned before punish. Adena buyers should get perma banned first of all. All of them.
It's ridiculous to see all these people complaining about spam bots in towns, pve bots in low lvl locations etc etc while their own clans are filled with addicted adena buyers who are in fact responsible for all that mess. And I'm pretty sure some of those complainers did purchase adena from RMT sites, which makes them ultimate hipocrites.
Also, it's always amusing to see how overgeared noobs suddenly become shy when asked how they obtained their gear, apparently all of them just legally purchased insane amounts of NCoins, nothing else. Gimme a break!

I dont want to be rude, but i think that adena trains, rmt and 3rd pt prog. users are all the same. The fact you are saing that bots are the worst, make me feel like you are using 3rd tools and want to look better thatn you are in reality. It doesnt matter if you strangle smbd, shoot, or just left to die. Its all same crime. Every single one should be perma banned, to warn the others that its not allowed. Period.

See, for the most part i actually agree. All these legits AREN'T legit. Very few people I've met in game over the last 12 years never bought adena, especially now adays, if ya don't, I don't see how you'd even enjoy the game.

Thanks for proving my point. Since you obviously condone that particular kind of cheating, you are totally responsible for the situation with bots/RMT spammers. You and your cheating, adena-buying buddies are equally guilty.

1 more thing, if the item I wanted to buy was in the nstore, I wouldn't need to buy adena. If I want a scroll to oe a skill I'm supposed to gamble at an event? No thanks, sell everything, make it not trade-able!

I have never bought adena, neither from RMT sites nor by selling L2Store items for adena to other players. Nevertheless I enjoy the game very much.
Hmm. I wonder. If those cheaters who buys ncoins would get perma ban, would they make new char (or pick one of their tons of bots) and continue buying ncoins to gear it up all over again?
If they would then NC would still continue getting money even they ban those nabs. :D

It seems to me it's just the Western mentality itself that involves such overwhelming levels of hipocricy that an individual cannot even see what's wrong with his/her views.
Let's replace "adena" with "drugs" and make a real-life analogy to illustrate their quite common yet perverted way of thinking:
I cannot quit using drugs because they are too cheap! There are too many drug dealers around, advertizing the drugs all over the place! The police does nothing to stop them! I'm a drug addict but it is totally not my fault! Drugs make my life brighter, it's too hard without them! If someone would take away all the drug dealers then maybe I'd try and stop using drugs!
That was, in a nutshell, the point of view on drugs (that is, RMT) abuse predominating in this forum. To me, it looks both irresponsible and hipocritical, to say the least.
My own stance is simple:
I don't use drugs, therefore I don't care if there are any pushers around, I know I will never deal with them, no matter what.
I don't care if the police is doing their job or not, I just know I am not a part of the problem.
Should everyone act like I do, there won't be any drug supply eventually.
Demand always comes first, supply next. Whoever tries to persuade us it's the other way around is just looking for excuses, blaming someone else for his faults.

When you will understand that L2 is not a casual game, like wow for example or many others and then you need 10hours/day to make somethings, even stupid things take a huge time and money.... You will understand why people left the game.
Now pvp scripters are perma ban or stop using it, is there something different? no, chronos same old clan rules, freya the same, naia the same....
So the 10QQ's cry again & again,,,, all those baby cries should leave the forum at first and for sure the game, it will help all the people here :)
