First off, bring back the Steel Door Guild Coins, that or give us more Paulina's sets for 52 and 61. As it is you gotta buy NC Coin to get the 30-day B and A grade stuff, plus buy the C-S grade soulshot packages.
Second, and a bigger sore point for me with the changes to leveling, and this IS NOT listed in the patch notes, the changes to quest rewards when you are sent to Varka and/or Ketra Barracks at 76. At 76-84 the quests used to reward you with 15 element stones on top of the normal rewards for the single time quests. This was great since you can trade them in for element crystals in Aden and use Mentee Coins to get the base 60 or 150 element on armor and weapons respectively.
If you were leveling an alt on a separate account you then got the following per toon to 85:
2000+ish Steel Door Guild Coins
100+ element stones
a TON of mentee coins
another alt to stick in Oly and CoC for daily coins and other things
The speed of leveling to 85 prior to Helios wasn't so bad to need all the changes made. Just a little refinement would have been good. Now, while it is indeed faster, the loss of rewards, makes it feel less beneficial as you level up. I honestly feel like I am less prepared with a toon when it hits 85 now. If nothing else, please restore the element stone rewards at 76-84.
Edit: So there is in fact a Paulina's Set A grade. I had been told there wasn't and when I wasn't offered anything for B grade at 52 I put stock in what I was told. So that is something.
LOL :D

There is going to be a degree of personal perspective, opinion, and definition as to what constitutes or does not constitute failure. For my own perspective, replacing content in a video game with something new or removing it out right is a failure on the part of the developers.
I honestly do not see why they made the changes they did to the initial leveling experience. It really isn't all that faster overall than the previous questing. Where they trying to eliminate the need to grind at all outside of quest objectives? If so, failed that. Was it simply to speed up the process period for those who are not aware of using the xp lucky pouches or killing low level raid bosses? Barely, succeeded. Was it to make doing the quest chain FASTER than killing raid bosses? Failed that big time, that is of course depending on when you catch the boss respawns.
The positive changes to leveling were the addition of quests to power level sub-classes. Those changes are actually really good. No more 900 mob farming for mad XP and the quest tracker for the new quest now progresses at a 100% rate. Instead the worst of the new quests only asks for 400 mobs. Of course, raid bosses are still the fastest way to go when you can find them up.
However, for the initial round of leveling for a new character, overall, I have to say the changes are a big negative. The loss of the element stones especially and steel door coins in exchange for no meaningful gain in leveling time or efficiency. But hey, can't say I am surprised. This seems to be par the course for the entire gaming industry these days. All these companies sold their souls to Wall Street more than a decade ago and eff the customer, the experience and any meaningful entertainment value. Good thing you don't gotta pay a monthly sub anymore.
