Either remove them, or make it so they don't work at a siege.
Sieges are seriously broken due to this. There are parties of people with Slaughter dyes who are basically unkillable. Sure we could all do it, but gg..
the dye is very buggy as it is way more powerful then the description and completely removes the fun as what's the point of fighting unkillable players ?
it needs to be fixed so it works like the description or even better make it the poor man's choice of dye by having it only work if you don't have any pvp eternal armor items as that would actually make more sense to me..
stacked end game players will still be very strong and hard to kill but they will be killable and the average player will be able to last a lil longer & thus have more fun at Sieges when using the dye in such way.
also please note how this dye is an NCWest exclusive item, Korea does not have it, so it can easily be removed or modified by NCWest staff if they want to. http://boards.rochand.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1668
I am against this idea. Not everyone have money for Insanity and +10 set.
Slaughter dye is cheap good way to increase your defence on siege.
If you remove it, soon or later there will be another item that increase it, and you again can be immortal, and not only on siege.
Just need make cap for damage resistance, for example 70%. So it will be no matter how many items you stack, you still receive some damage.
let's just agree there never should be a way to get to 99+% damage reduction ingame ever period.
I don't care how this get's fixed as long as it gets done before more ppl quit cause Sieges is one of the very few real mass PVP events left in this game with not even any more PVP for major raids like Dragons or as in the old days Frinteza/Baium etc..
what's PVP nowadays really ? ganking ppl at Parnasus ? and for that you would invest thousands of $$ or 100+Bils in gear really ? who is that stupid to stay in a game like that when the return on investment is not even 30min of "PVP fun" a week ?
this game needs some serious fixing to make it worth for end game players to log in and fight over goals/objectives or items that actually matter with no carebear work around possible but to PVP for getting them.

Exactly, although I've been saying this for years now. The best thing to be done right now is let it be as it is. The pvp already faded away, it doesn't exist anymore. Since several months, the pve aspect is fading away too, the market is 90% items off the l2store and that's about it. Now tell me what's left, since Helios is no improvement on any of these, actually for example the drops in GC/Superion are non existent.
When the improved brooch jewels come, it will be even more "fun".
Slaughter dyes have been removed from L2store. good.
But the question is : ppl who have many in stock can still apply those Dye?
if yes, it sucks.
Let me guess.... yes top clans (aka nova and nova friends) alrdy has a year stock.....
they abuse the dye for several sieges, and now since they got smashed on 21 vs 70, they cry... NCWest listen ... item removed.....
I do not disagree with this item being overpowered as it gives +25% pvp damage reduction however i do not agree with the methods as to how it was removed.
Your team has removed the Slaughter Dye from the L2 Store, however the majority of the server somehow had information on this items removal. Those players have now purchased hundreds of Slaughter Dyes, which are now un-purchasable to everyone else, which leaves the remaining player base, including myself, unable to compete with these players until these Slaughter Dyes are depleted. It doesn't take strong math to understand that if someone has over 600 Slaughter Dyes in their warehouse then 600 castle sieges from now they will run out.
If you are going to restrict players from buying these Dyes then i would highly recommend removing & refunding anyone who has purchased those items prior to them being removed. As of now we are in a worse situation than before as those people who had this information of the Slaughter Dyes being removed have created this extremely large stock pile of dyes in their own warehouse. The remaining players, including myself, not only want this item completely removed but also in a way that doesn't benefit others.
For example some players on chronos have already linked 60 to 600 dyes, all from the same clan and there is speculation that the leader of that clan has a family member which works for NCSoft. This alone causes a lot of issues with balance.
To make the speculation go away and not really be a concern, I would vote on completely removing the item or modifying its effects. If removed completely you would have to give a refund but if you modify the existing versions then everyone is affected the same way and cannot complain.

Just my 2 cents, thanks.
100% agree as well. The more I hear about stuff like this it makes me even more less interested in really getting involved in this game again. I'm on a break atm due to an injury of my right hand so I can't play, but when I read about the extents people go through just so they can "win" it's pretty darn sad. People that pull this kind of crap sap all the joy out of it. What's the use. I haven't participated in a siege in months now. First it was the scripters, now it's slaughter dyes. It'll always be something because of the mentality of the people that play L2 these days. So sad.

1st Lie: The information was posted here, During and while a heated argument was taking place between the clan in which you belong, and other clans that were upset about the manor you and your clanmates chose to Brag about
what i still consider borderline fair but Exploited Victory, (SOMEHOW) you forget?
2nd misleading statement: you are a part of the Clan that chose to exploit,
and abuse, these Dyes , and not one of the "Rest of the Player Base"
3rd Lie: A Purchased Dye with Adena , is not in anyway a Real Life Purchase,
and A Refund would be considered Theft.
Finally Accusations made from known Cheaters and Liars,
is as Ridiculous as a Bank Robber , Demanding for the Bank Teller to put the money into the Bag, while the guy behind him reaches into his back pocket
and steals his wallet.
And The Bank Robber turning around and saying "Hey that Guy Stole my Wallet!" and than demanding Justice!
Now
on the Flip Side:
The Clan that has all these Exploitable Dyes
(if its even true....whoknows at this point)
Has taken a risk, Never Forget, Some of you Are Known Cheaters and Liars as well!
It can be removed... And as much as I personally would like to see these Dyes used against my Favorite Cheating Clan..... the dyes should be Removed!
