Permanent bans are given for botting/illegal 3rd Party Programs and have been in place for the last two weeks. We have seen spectacular results with these bans and we will continue to increase our measures to keep up this fight for as long as possible. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a response. There is no valid reason for only the 3 to 5 day bans on well known botters, so this will be ignored.
So, those RMT heroes(and not heroes) with 105 lvl, +++++weapons/armor - are safe to play forevermore? Because they all are still running around. Except those who are selling gear cuz they do not want to play w/o renger. Btw any GM is monitoring this? What am I saying, ofc no one.
Now casual 100 lvl legits must fight against overgeared 105 lvl legits(former RMt and botters), guess who will win?
Guys you al arel WRONG, juji just meant, Untouchable top big botters/scripters wont be touched ( they can continue botting and rmt and etc), but the rest will need to be legit and pay much coins and lose against big bosses. There is no leget way to reach what a 6 year hardcore bot have done by now.

And I see that Seal of Shilen, Spicula at least - are all filled with ertheia summoners. I see towns being plagued by chat tearing and private messages from RMT websites. I see same cheaters roaming around with their illegally bought gear. I can not call this "spectacular". I would call it - lot's of brave promises and zero result.
I agree, Juji should stop avoiding the question and come explain to his players why the nobs that were botting for so long and gotten to 104-105 lvl were given only 3+5 days bans and more so, please tell us how we're supposed to catch up exactly.

Dh is a plague to naia server from GOD ... they had time to stack items and adena from gainak boting and other dirty things ... and im still waiting for the day when they will dissapear ..because we are feed up with the greedy people that are trying to get it all ..

To me, and to be fair, you should improve the maccro system, you should sell in nc coins (or whatever) your own legal bot to make all the people happy. Cause with this configuration server system, it will take like 5 years to normal players to reach level 104/105.

The xp is worse, the factions are vitality sinks, no pvp, tons quit, my boss jewels plummited in value, and the top scripters that did stick around are such high level and over geared ya still can't beat them. Macro bots, lmao, how is this better?

L2 has never been a game where you would get stuff fast or easy, it's a game where being patient and able to plan ahead while setting clear goals on how one wants to develop their chars is being rewarded over time.
Simple example taken from personal experience: it took me 2 years to finally be able to get a masterwork vesper noble gaiters after it first got introduced back in the days - you don't want to imagine the amount of time spent in Monastery of Silence with spoiler friends to get the needed mats/recs. - made many good spoiler friends though :)

it Threatens NcSoft,The People Who Play Lineage 2, And ...lol..Even The Constitution of United States of America!
But an even bigger threat to freedom of speech did not come from religious extremists, and it did not involve violence. Instead, it emerged from a placid courtroom in Hawaii, where federal Judge Alan C. Kay recently issued a 49-page decision allowing one Craig Smallwood to pursue his case for damages against NCSoft Corporation, the maker and marketer of a computer game to which Mr. Smallwood has allegedly become addicted.
Lineage is an interactive fantasy game set in a virtual medieval world of elves, dark elves, knights, princes, and magicians. Players can play with or against other online players as they lay siege to castles, impose and collect taxes, kill monsters, and (in avatar form) kill other players. At its height, the game had over 3 million subscribers, most of them in Korea.
According to his complaint, Mr. Smallwood began playing Lineage II (a prequel to the original game) in 2004 or 2005. Over the next five years, Mr. Smallwood played for over 20,000 hours, or roughly ten hours per day, seven days per week. Mr. Smallwood experienced "great feelings of euphoria and satisfaction from persistent play." Soon, he was "psychologically dependent and addicted." NCSoft banned him from internet gameplay for allegedly scheming to create real money transfers with other players, a charge Mr. Smallwood denies. The expulsion has upset Mr. Smallwood. For one thing, he is out the $65 he prepaid for playing time. More importantly, Mr. Smallwood's expulsion has caused "extreme and serious emotional distress and depression." He has suffered "psychological trauma, he was hospitalized, and he requires treatment and therapy three times a week."
In short, Mr. Smallwood is now a mess, and not at all the well-adjusted fellow he was back in those halcyon times when he was playing Lineage ten hours per day.
Mr. Smallwood may have relished his years as an inhabitant of the Lineage kingdom, but when he was expelled, he remembered his real roots and did what red-blooded Americans are bred to do when confronting disappointment. He sued. His complaint sets forth eight claims, four of which Judge Kay dismissed on various procedural grounds. But he allowed Mr. Smallwood to pursue his claims for negligence, gross negligence, and negligent infliction of emotional distress. All three claims rest on the premise that NCSoft was negligent in designing and distributing the game and in failing to warn Mr. Smallwood of its "dangerous and defective characteristics." (Judge Kay also allowed Mr. Smallwood to proceed with his defamation claim based on the allegedly false accusation of real money transfers.)
The most disturbing aspect of the opinion was its treatment of the First Amendment. There wasn't any. Defendants, in their motion to dismiss, did not raise it. Judge Kay, in his opinion, did not discuss it.
The court and counsel proceeded in their own virtual world, where castles, dragons, and elves are real, but the First Amendment is not. Locked in this fantasy, they ignored several decades of state and federal precedents holding that television programs, movies, magazine articles, and other forms of entertainment are subject to constitutional protection. Unless, under the Supreme Court's test in Brandenburg v. Ohio, they are "directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action and are likely to incite or produce such action," these works are shielded by the First Amendment and furnish no basis for tort liability.
The facts underlying these precedents are far more heart-wrenching, and the victims far more sympathetic, than those in the Smallwood case.
As someone who has played mostly regular since beta up until the last year or two,I felt the free to play opened up a box of problems, then the game store was added which kind of killed it for legit players or casual players. It's not that I think it's unfair,but it's the fact that some people CAN and will spend thousands and I can't do that. So on my end I have to trod along without xp bonus or vitality, low to no drops and try to get levels and gear. You can't solo it,you need a steady clan and regular groups and activities to get anywhere. Which means you need to be in-game when your clan/friends are. People who work, have adult responsibility,spouses,kids and whatever else don't have the kind of time for this. This became one my problems. In the end I slowly lost interest because I didn't have the time to dedicate anymore or the money to try and keep up.
This works for Korea from what I have read,but here we want to be able to enjoy a game for the little bit of time we can play it. I mean I always felt logging in for 2-3 hours and not even gaining 2% was depressing,spending more money in those 2-3 hours than I gained really just made no sense. mostly I was doing it for the friends I made playing, but it just became this chore that wasn't fun anymore.
At some point you just find other interests, get older and move on. I haven't found another MMO that I loved as much. I've tried quite a few and they are basically taking on the same model. Instances, free to play, game shops, chain quests to pull you along the game and level.
I still log into my accounts from time to time,but I don't use my PC much anymore since smartphones have blown up.
I have a Seasonal Job that allows me the Luxury, even when i am working i have to fill allot of Down Time, which is how i got into this mess in the 1st place ..lol
The weakest link in my +9 armor, and in all my arguments, are in the points you have made.

if you put now two good geared chars (DD+Iss) in party when one would target mob by name and unleash all skills and iss would assist and debuff, chosing propper spot, you can leave them for quite long time without looking at the screan... so, actually you are not playing lineage anymore, and you dont need other people... you are just botting (there is no any ***** name to it) but doing it officially and in "legit" way... so, i do not understand how the brains of current game developers work....really with this update with this idiotic faction daily quests i am logging into the game just from time to time loosing all interest..... and i play L2 from 2006 on Franz.
