We've temporarily removed the Mysterious Slaughter Dye (1-day) from the L2 Store due to issues with this item. We're currently working on a fix for this and hope to make it available again in the near future.

Theres no issue with it. It works as intended.
The problem is the never ending creation of super items. You created so many without caring that the stacking of them lead to 100% pvp damage defense.
The idea of siege day dyes was nice, but no deep impact study was made.
Btw, the way it works we can say that the pvp reduction multiplifier was the most outer one in the damage formula. No matter how much pvp bonus you have, if your enemy stack 100% pvp defense, you deal 0 dmg to him.
What about the ppl that skill have unused dyes ingame? Some have a lifetime amount of them.
there is nothing to fix, the dye work as intended no bug.
problem is if you stack certain items in game got a dmg reduction not 0 like exploiter Flashed(player) show on his video but really low that are easy to heal.
if you remove from store you need to remove the use of it ASAP !
example if you use on a character without set pvp dmg reduction is ok but not great, that probe there is not any bug. a example a sunshine player on chronos low lvl pvp player (elpys)
ps: this become another corrupted private server. nova member been use this from 6 months, they cry one day they remove IRL touch plays here awesome.

See why you and your clan will be always random players because are just parrots, repeat repeat whatever a buthurt player say.
There is people that have at least 2 years more of that dye, keep the crying coming.
having the dye is meaningless if you can't put it on at Siege day which is something that's easily done by disabling that specific dye at the npc, cupcake ;)
and just out of curiosity which Clan am I from ? go take a random pick as there are not many left on all of Chronos that isn't completely tired of you guys.

the noob said the true .. theres many vid from nova/syn players taking 0 dmg in sieges (flashed, melgorath and others) but they never remove it, and 1 siege nova complain about it next maintenence the dye was removed haha ..

Probaly the modifier will be pulled down to 10%(2% per kill) to match the tooltip description instead of the 25%(5%) that currently is.
Has more then five years that i'm play that game, and in all those years i saw a lot of weird stuffs happening, my people , south american people, used to say that the game is racist because was always benefiting the North americans or Euro people, i used to say "No guys, that was just coincidence" but after what just happened, i can't say anymore that was just coincidence, i never ever felt so offended in one virtual game but now! If that was not racism, i dont know what is. Has a long time that my clan has been complaining about the people taking 0 damage, i did by myself more then 20 tickets, my people did more then 500 tickets asking for arrangements, the answer that we got was Z E R O ! Z E R O , nothing, nada, rien , nichts, nihil !!!!!!

2-Your team has removed the Slaughter Dye from the L2 Store, however the majority of the server somehow had information on this items removal. Those players have now purchased hundreds of Slaughter Dyes, which are now un-purchasable, which leaves the remaining player base, including myself, unable to compete with these players until these Slaughter Dyes are depleted. If you are going to restrict players from buying these Dyes then i would highly recommend removing & refunding anyone who has purchased those items prior to them being removed.

OPINO lo mismo pero ahora el server a mejorado mucho estas semanas de lo que nunca se hizo en 10 años .
me imagino que los GM estan poco a poco arreglando todo los bugg y bots para un mejor juego pero un les falta mucho.
hay quejas sobre esto desde hace mucho tiempo tanto de bots como bugs
y gente que se aprovechan pero en general todos o la gran mayoria se an aprovechado sean latinos o no

Yo man, just out of curiosity, how come everything that Renovatio complains about, the staff gets on it like real fast.
That dye has been in the store for quite some time, there's been complains of all kinds about every single pvp reduction item in the store, yet , not a single member of the NCNA staff replied or did anything in the past.
Somehow, someway, after last sunday siege where "Coincidentally" (Not implying anything), Renovatio clan made accusations of certain players exploiting/bugging with the dye, this action is taken and everything is now being checked.
I'm not implying anything(again), don't get me wrong, but this kind things look suspicious and makes the entire Administration / GM Team look super bad, not that such thing means anything to anyone anymore though, but, i mean, the entire Lineage 2 staff has had a horrible image since, pretty much, ever and you all probably know that already *No offense intended*, then again, if it took this long to suddently realize something is wrong with the dye or any other pvp reduction item, that is just, sad and worrying, very worrying.
But, I'm honestly not implying anything of any sort but just sometimes the coincidence is, uhm, very well timed.
who from Nova besides me complained about this though on these forums ? since when do I represent a whole clan ?

so I don't care how this get's fixed, be that be lowering all pvp damage resist items effects incl. pvp sets/tauti rings etc. or a change in this dye w/e but being realistic the simplest and easiest way is to align NCWest to the same PVP game mechanics as Korea has end of discussion.

Hello, if u remove the dye from l2 stone (PLEASE REMOVE FROM PEOPLE WHO ALREADY STOCK IT, OR MAKE IT UNSUABLE IN SIEGE TILL U FIX IT) . Rly this sucks u make unbalanced the sieges.....
The dye doesn't work anymore, at todays Dim Siege people that still had some tried it out and it didn't work.
Have to say it was very refreshing to see some real pvp without scripts or that dye ruining the fun.

There is no real PvE content left. There is no LOOT in L2 anymore. You cant upgrade your character basically at all without pushing the "legit" p2w button.
Lineage 2 is redefining P2W in mmorpg scene. Terms from mobile game industry as "Paywall" "Bridged content" "Gated Content" is reality in mmorpg scene.
Even the PvE content is gated.

Well I completely agree with the statement you make here, the day that this game went "f2p" it went downhill quickly at least that is my opinion others may disagree with me. People buy all kinds of extra buffs in the L2 store to gain extra bennifits like rose, valiant scrolls, weaver augition and when it was there that dye. and then these brooch jewels which also gives a huge advantage and some off them have +16 weapons cause of those DEWR that you can't get anymore at least on NAIA i don't see them and this scroll works for normal and mage weapons.
Ok some people will tell me why you can purchase these items from players that sell them for adena, well yes ofcourse but if you truly play free to play making adena by the billions cause thats what you need to compete these days........ kinda hard to do and L2 use to be a game on team based.
I remember the days when it was p2p and whole clans work together to gather, craft equitment for the clan and do raids and everyone was equall (no extra buffs for real cash). Sieges and pvp use to be fun to now these days when you run into someone on equall level and he has full dark set +++ weapon lvl 4 brooch jewels (most have these) and you are truly free to play you will be one shotted.
so yeah not that dye ruined the game the whole L2 store did :) so I pray for some old classic servers where we pay for subscribsion each month and get that old feeling back.
But yeah thats just my thought's on it you may agree or disagree.
I apologise for Draecke for pulling him into this conversation... I have been in an ally with him and he is relatively clear-minded compared to most of L2 population. Maybe he isnt a hero but as far as I know he has never aspired to being a hero.
We have to remember that Draecke is a PvE person - not a PvP. Maybe he links his gear somewhat often into chat but I suppose its a way to get some respect for the hours he puts into the game.
Anywho - into second topic.
Even though NCwest has made L2 and Aion pretty much Cash-cows there is a thing we have to remember. Where did the money go.
If I am to believe Mr Yidao - and I usually do - the money went into making new games. First they financed Guild Wars 2 with the money from L2/Aion. After GW2 was successfully published they spent the money to Wildstar.
Now if we consider that Wildstars Cash shop is very minimal and GW2 has an option to spend money - without it going p2w - we could say that our moneys from L2 and Aion were actually well spent. Our games went to **** but hey - atleast those were spent on new games rather than NCdinos Baseball team.
And im not sure if its completely NCsofts fault they went into Mobile gaming too. As far as I followed the news from Korea mmo scene - Nexon tried to Hijack NCsoft pretty aggressively year or two ago that pushed NC to invest into Mobile companies.
All in all - and as a request for @Juji - if and when the Project S mobile sector is finally done - and they need no more money from L2/Aion - would it be possible that we get atleast abit less Cash options in our game? Maybe even use some of our money for L2 development in West, if Korea is to fall? ^_^

back on topic: yes the game become even more P2W then a few years ago but NCWest is finally getting a little more aware of things and once they manage to deal with the last bot prog that's left I do hope (dream) that they will fix the drops/spoil on all mobs & add a randomized respawn timer on all open field raids.
ok my 2 cent. You all are talking about this dye as if its the be all end all in game. I have a lvl102 evis, +12 fist, 15% crit, pay for epics, +8 to -10 leather set, +15str/chrisma, lvl4 talisman and other stuff.
Fought the Nova ISS hero and barely did jack to his CP.. And you think the slaughter dye
has meaning. Theres so much *** out there right now that I couldn't give a rats *** about
that dye. If you start removing things were the hell do you stop? They pay the cost to be the
boss. So I stick with being a badass in the PvE realm and leave the PvP to the guys with the
biggest pockets.
