The success rate of compounding on the current brooch jewls seem to be FAR LESS than it has been in the past.
I failed compounding 12x Vital Stone lvl 1, and another 11 opals in a row.
I've heard of bad luck, but this is ridiculous. Ncsoft stop grabbing people's money just for the sake of funding your vacations. At the price you currently put the items up on the store for there should be a better success rate for compounding.

Ya , Bad idea to Try to Compound to many in one session
I had a Terrible Expierence with them Last Time they were available
Someone who is still active made a youtube video on compounding those jewels
so out of respect i should'nt give you the link. You should do some research on them before you try again
i know of maybe 5 different Strategies
with 12k nc coins
I made one lvl 3 diamond (I had one)
I made two lvl 4 pearl (I had one)
I maded one lvl 3 ruby (I had one)
I made two lvl 4 opal (I had one)
I made one lvl 3 emerald (I had one)
I didnt touch the rest boxes
Although I feel like it was total rip off because none of my previous jewels managed to get a single lvl up when compounding with the new ones. I think the compounding rates are the same.

1) Buy Nc coins
2) Buy l2store boxes
3) open the boxes
4) cryiing ; 12000 nc coins for 100 boxes (40 aquamarine, 35 emerald, 3 Topaz, 3 Ruby, 4 opal, 15 Sapphire (QED)
5) return to 1

Yeah. I guess after some point if you want higher lvl gems you have to be prepared to spend 1k euro.
All I wanted was some extra power for pve because my main is ISS Dominator and it's extremely hard to find party for instances. :(
The rates are totally, totally random. Took me 5 boxes to make my level 3 topaz. I've spent 12bil the last few days trying to make a level 4 obsidian. Out of all that, I got four level 3's to try with the one I already had, and they all failed going to 4. At one point I failed 11 obsidians in a row, before I got one level 2.

Problem is not lv 2 or 3 or even 4 problem its lvl 5 . Price is insanely high. And Juji should consider to make higher rates of success. Just double them.
yea me and my friends have made 18 level 4's now. 4's is not problem. i have 7 level 4's myself.
We have all tried many times to get lv 5 jewel. only 2 time it worked, we had so many Vital stones so we pooled together and tried. We got 2x Lv 5 Vital stone, LOL, the most useless level 5 jewel :P (maybe aqua)
