I remember a couple of years ago, playing wow, I was a hardcore raider, made 2 tanks, DK & Paladin and they each joined a raid guild. To clear 1 instance like "the seige of Orgrimmer" we had to divide the raid into 2 days and each day everyone HAD TO show up 10 minutes before the raid, get in the vent; and once the raid started, everyone HAD TO follow the instruction of the raid leader or get kicked out of the guild...LOL
well...I liked the idea of getting the TOP-ENDGame-Heroic gears of WOW but resented heavily the tight raid schedules and the sense of being controlled by others all the time.
Anyways...so I play Lineage2 now and so far, it's been great! I've been playing various characters Freely! Whenever! I wanted and I've really been enjoying the FREEDOM of lineage2.
However....
now that most of my toons are crossing the Level 100 mark, I am beginning to see the barrier. Soloing and Box playing have their limits and if I am to level any one character seriously in a meaningful way, it takes making a decision of choosing one and one character only, and sacrificing everything else but focusing on the only one...
I know, when coming back 1 week ago, I made up my mind to focus on one character but now that I am about to join a clan for the Constant-Party...I am beginning to feel the pressure again...

yes you need to decide on max 2 chars to focus on past 100 else the progress will be way to slow
no you don't need to join a constant party for such, just be able to do 2x K95 2x K99 2x AF Instance and Gludio as a minimum daily at full XP boost and a char will hit 103 within a Month.
being part of a healthy active clan/ally with a decent friend list does make achieving such way easier but it's not mandatory or the like.
btw if you play an MMO without making any friends/ social interaction you're doing something wrong imo..
+1 to Draecke. As i understand the nature of Dreamseaker and the deam to try and max(i think so not +14 armors or +15 dark gear) but on higher level than the majority.
Let a PVE class cary the rest - over geared evi/titan can carry whole party alone. Find couple other players which same interest and you can complete the goal being in small clan.
If you mature enough(in game) - make your own clan as 20 good players > 100 bad.

Thank you for your words of advice. I totally agree on the idea of Max 2 chars. It's not that I am anti-social or anything, but it's just that I've been hoping from char to char everyday way too many times, making it almost impossible to establish any meaningful connection with anyone. Hopefully things will change.

I actually thought about this, inviting people to join my own private clan. Believe it or not....I made a clan and leveled it up to clan level 7...
Just with log-in bonus, I was able to get Level 2 clan buff, too. But I didn't go for it, since being a clan leader comes with a lot of responsibilities, such as the ability to stay online 24/7, having the time to answer the newbie-questions, leading the clan raids and events... etc. It was a more of the time issue.
About the idea of making the box party, hmm...I just don't see the point now. If it's for adena making, well...I already have good enough gears for all my chars that I simply don't see the point; and recently, I am not so fond of boxing when partying with other people. I sometimes did it in the past but it was just too much work and stress...I'd rather play 1 char and chat with others now, and relog to repeat the same instance as another char, rather than boxing the instance to save time.
