Those who want classic, already play at EU version, what's the point...
Also, I can not imagine myself throwing away 8 year char and start from scratch. Not gonna happen. What it is the good side of official server? Stability.
Also, to those dreaming about "classic":
It is NOT classic game at all, it is some horrible monster, gathered from GoD interface, some skills from different chronicles (C1 and C3, for example), reduced adena rewards for quests and so on... At least in EU version. Pathetic. This has nothing to do with old Lineage 2.
Nope and please use search as it has been explained many times before why this wouldn't work on NCWest just like how it's actually not working on EU and only a lil bit successful on RU & Korea..
Take some effort and try to understand why it works on RU / Korea and not at all on EU.
Will give you a hint though: realize how hard it is to find decent support players here and know that on Classic you need 5 support players for a 9 man party to work - think about that for a while.
ps, Classic will also have NC Store stuff incl. brooch jewels etc so it really ain't like the old days

I finally quit Eve at beginning of year. I had a blast, kept an Eve blog going for a long time but... finally called it quits too. L2 I come back to on occasion, play for a while then get bored...

if you're going to quote me then put it in the right context as I did say that RU / Korean (Asian) Classic works ya.. just EU and defi NCWest will fail due to the wrong type of player mentality
I don't think the people on NCwest have the mental fortitude to pvp without noblesse blessing at this point in time. 90%+ of the current population would rage-quit in the first month so it's probably not a good idea to open Classic here.
If you like a patch a lot, grab some friends and go play a low-rate private server for that patch or play the eu version of classic.
NCSoft will not open a clasisc server and Its not a matter of succes or not, or ppl who want to play, or whatever.
Lets see the facts:
1.Clasic server its a payed for access server.
2.NcSoft have based headquarters for Europe in London, UK.
3.In UK exist Consumer Rights Act Octomber 2015, CHAPTER 3 Digital content.
4.Lineage 2 its game full of bugs, bots, etc.
So you see...they might lose money then make money with a clasic payed server.:cool:
I hope you did notice lately a improved descripition of items, events, month preview,etc...And its not coz NcSoft got a wake up call, its due to this new consumer rights in UK.
i played classic on core...horrible waste of time and efforts...its a nonsense...its like u want to live like a caveman leaving the city...dream about it with an empty stomach...with vegetables and tree bark.. :)
