well minions come if ppl who are in prison not bsoe in 3 sec from there not because Balok cast "some skill" so bsoe in max 3 sec after prison and minions will never come. AOE will just help you to kill fast balok not have any connection will any action there be free to use all time.
ps: for "anti prison tactic" is good to have wyn in pt, if sammons from wyn hit 1st and have agro all time no1 from pt will go in prison ;)

sorry, not true. he will cast demolition and spawn mobs from earth even if no one went to prison or bsoe same second.
AOE or any other skill has nothing to do how Balok behaves each time you face him.
It's all that simple "AI" , that loads a pattern each time he spawns for you and that pattern varies, which may result in many rifts spawned or celestial cast or porting ppl to prison or doing nothing at all.
It's ture to some extent that when someone gets ported to prison and balok has the aggro on him, is more likely for him to spawn a rift for some reason (AI stuff again), but thats all there is.AoE makes no difference on what he does.
If ppl were actually not bsoeing but freeing their comrades from the prison....its much less of a hassle to fight him.
Demolition(minions) is casted when balok targets someone who is far over 300 units from him. can be prison or anywhere.
Imprison is random, nothing can be done about it, other than summoners(read two post above).

Groups of randoms enter balok and start hit it...
One or many of them (imbeciles) start qq: No stun no aoe...
Than balok targeted someone who is not too close and used demolition... Or just used demolition... Or someone didnot b soe and balok start run and than demolition, or someone reentered after b soe and balok run to him (happens sometimes)
Most funny that even after demolitions or 2+demolitions whole group of imbeciles still dont use aoe stun or aoe debaffs or aoe damage skills...
Ofcourse than fail... bcs mobs simple eat them...
Look Balok dont care what you using... Stun dont even affect him!

Iss must do all his aoe include chaos, tyrr = sonic star, evis = his aoe-s,
othell = poison zone, heal = mass sleep and mass purge/pt cel/tree and etc... And mobs gone in next 10 sec... no matter are they 10 or even 50 they all will be smashed and sent back to hell :P...

Demolition itself can be destroyed if you aoe ...
You cant target it... But if you aoe damage you will destroy demolition...

bsoe or not to bsoe, depends imho....
with bsoe coming free literally in our faces, less auto target robots in parna, doing bsoe, 3 second run, 2 seconds click and load and quick rebuff is a less brainer to this 1 br instance any way...
unless one person has a really crappy computer or 2 parties of War waiting outside with right macros, it is just less hassle... (specially if iss is active, not box)

OMG 1 more dreamer:D mobs come from prison and not from balok skill:rolleyes: they come from balok sumoning skill called black vortex, and only low lvls go in making balok with out aoe, because of low dps only, aoe dps isent a problem for any party meber as long as you kill fast minions , because minions have lethal atack skills to kill party balok dosent do any huge dmg att all, so plis learn to make instances and do not inform bad any new players. P.S. learn from a nab dager that can tank balok and end instance with only 3 active players and thows 3 active class dosent mater.

GZ Crystall iluminate imbecils:D:D or beter info guys take lvl 99 +dager lett him start rb and after go use ani skills:) dager will evade all atack and must not use stun skills to change location , rest is simple atacks , dager will make less dmg from frontal atacks, but all are happy and make instance , spamm razor rain dager explosion iff minions come forget balok 1 2 minuts all party to kil minions cas they are 1 2 atacks only, and done end of story and forget boxed chars in prison ,this is only ncsoft mistacke of alwing 5 10 acounts loged from same ip, ip class. HF.

If you say this because any servitor from Wynn Summoner can't be imprisoned. While giving some time the other party members aren't imprisoned, only gives more chances to Balok become agitated or saying at best word, stoned.

The mechanics of Balok instance is one.
The Balok raid takes place in Crystal Caverns and occurs in three stages. In stage two, characters may be imprisoned, guarded by wardens who have the key to the cage. In stages two and three, Balok opens a gate to hell to summon minions, and becomes increasingly stronger.
Although every rule has exceptions.
And we have seen and tired of seeing exceptions being successful, kind, never have been imprisoned or then wrapped with minions around.
It must be acknowledged that the means of defense of Balok is boring.
But that guilt has Balok he only teleport players into the cage. It is the form of bizarre defense of it.
But someday, if they give the idea of removing such skill from Balok, will less likely to fail as well as scams... who knows.
