My theory is with an PVP augment you can have the best of both worlds. Some PVP damage as well as PVE damage. (i'm not that rich to have 2 bows and i do PVP =P)
+15% PVE is quite adequate for running any instances.
wouldn't skill crit rate be more useful than skill critical damage? the more crits the more damage you produce. Even if you hit with 1 crit it's most likely over for the other toon.
how much damage does +70 attribute damage give you?
+15% CRITICAL SKILL DAMAGE!!
(would have been incredible if the m.attack was p.attack)
YULS POST YOUR AUGMENTS HERE AND HOW MUCH YOU SPENT. =P
totally worth it to me
Wow nicely done! Gratz man!
Every +10 attack attribute adds 1% more damage, both for normal and skill attacks.
+70 attack attribute = 7% more damage both PvP and PvE, normal hits as well as skill hits.

If the attack attribute is 220 higher than the defence attribute then damage = +25%. As i know it cant go more than that unless they changed it recently.
recap.. Skill crit dmg works.. dmg (normal hit) + dmg (skill crit is double dmg) + dmg*0.15 (15% skill crit dmg augument as we ignore any other boosts)
So if your non-crit skill dmg is 1000 ur crit skill dmg with this augument (but only this boost will be) 1000+1000+150 so 2150 (not 2300)..
Therefore If your attack attribute is under 440 (I even do recommend 500) your dmg bonus from 15% skill crit dmg augument will be less then to mediate your lack of attribute attack...
Remember that bonus/penalty from attrib attack/def difference is not linear so definitely do not go more than 120 (99 mobs attrib def is 440, 101+ is 560 in average). Also if possible go under 80... (which renders 480 attrib attack something to start from)
Once you can keep 480/500 attrib without +70 augument the skill crit dmg is best for you.
BTW i cancelled twice +15% skill crit dmg augument to get +70 attrib ;)

Your formula is way off buddy... just did a test with 2 bows last night and it falls in line with Znipo's formula in his "str vs dex" post.
+12 Blessed Bow R95 2SA with just 10% skill crit damage 1755 p attack
Oly Manager - 226k crit skill damage with blessed r95, 311kk with bloody
Kama first boss - 12400 crit skill with blessed r95, 17500 with bloody
Kama second boss - 4200 crit skill with blessed r95, 5900 with bloody
Baylor - 118k skill crit with blessed r95, 166k with bloody
So yea damage falls in line with the 30% added bonus from the 15% skill crit + 15% pve damage stacking... (give or take 5% + or - for the other factors)
I have no insight to your or anyone's equip so i just wrote that if you (some1) have low attack element and mobs 101+ are at ~560 defense you can get huge dmg penalty so you will get more DPS boot getting from -160 element to -50 element then adding P skill crit dmg boost only.
there are appx. dmg penalty if your attack element is
50 lower then target -2.24%
160 lower then target -14.57%
And this applies to skill dmg and normal attacks (and of course for crit calculated from that)
As I wrote if you are on attack element at 480 and above that augment is of course the best.
So all I wanted to say is if some1 has 350/420 element then boosting the element dmg might be better option then to adding specific dmg boost like P skill cirt dmg
Today trying to explode a bow that came to my hands during a trade I decide to try a Fear and after success, 17stones that I had in my wh.I gain Fear active skill with 20sec reuse,14sec on buffs. It lands on 99 toons 9/10 attempts. And won 9/10pvps when enemies turned their flagged backs to a full buffed archer...Boom!!!+1
How is +70 Attack Attribute with +1 Dex Augment for Yul GS?
It's pretty good, especially with the bonus to mobs attribute def in grand crusade.
Most people go for +15% skill crit dmg but it can be hard to get if you're not lucky. Increased attribute provides more consistent damage because it also affects non-critical attacks.
