This event is total crap I don't know why people even bother with this event this is the reason why NCWEST doesn't even bother to make an effort with their events since they all know too well that no matter how crappy the event they pull out players are gullible enough to invest on it. They are pretty much selling VERY expensive powerlvl and that's all there it is to it.
My gf and I did a computation regarding this event, you need 43hrs of fishing to get through 99-100 which will consume you at least 10k-11k baits depending on the fails you commit. 10k baits is 140$ so ye if I were you if you wanna lvl fast go buy 7 day rune 200% and some other shlt passes it will get you a little bit slower than fishing but it will be way way cheaper than this piece of garbage of an event lol

Your bait numbers are way off... It would take approximately 6k baits give or take a few depending on your luck it could even be as little as 5k baits if you are super duper extremely lucky.

Most people sell their Heine coins and Exclusive chest to get more bait. Exclusive chest go for 25kk-35kk so you can repeat the cycle a bunch of times with even 2500 bait. Those numbers go out the window if this is the case...

If he already has 500 boxes from 1 day of the event then you can't expect much from the boxes. This event is for pure xp purposes. If you get any items gratz to you. I'm sure by the end everyone with money to spend will have 101+ toons and the top donators will walk away with some item worth billions. The rest of us are just gonna use the event to level our duals to 99 for our passives and move on.
the thing is as even though the xp is not bad at all for the same amount of NCoins you can get full Vita and 200% XP runes to last you weeks if not Months from NC Store.. so there's quite an imbalance there..
this event is really more for people who
- don't have time or to lazy to actively xp
- are unable to fully achieve proper xp ingame for w/e reasons
- are rich and want to level as fast as possible by doing active xp and fishing on top
again 1 week 27/7 fishing equals $375/~300 Euro and for that you can buy a ton of other XP boost items/passes from Store to last over a Month..
imo doing K99 duo/trio 2x and K95 or 2x AF Instance a day on full boost gives more xp then 24hrs fishing but to each their own :)
Completely agree what Draecke wrote but he forgot 1 major thing - to do all this explained stuff you need to be geared(like good geared) and to fish you can do it naked that`s the main difference.
Rewards are bonus - main focus of this event is pure experience.
Too many people were shouting too busy work schedule etc - so here is the answer - if you work you have income - if you have income -you can spend to save time by doing so. NCWest did what the masses were asking(exp is not cheap but when you exp with 0 effort price is going up cause its powerlevel and powerleveling was never cheap :D )

I fully understand what all of you are saying and I completely agree. The rewards and cost are very disappointing.
Having said that, I would like to add something to the conversation. Since I came back from a short break I decided to join a low tier clan and just play casually. And, I can tell you something; the 85-95 level players in my current clan absolutely LOVE this event. They also don't have to spend an enormous amount of money to see concrete gains.
So yes, for an end game player it's not worth it but for a low/mid level it certainly is. They can spend a bit less than $50 and get perhaps 5-10 levels. So really, what would be better for them, buying a Destiny Pack or 2500 Bait (both 3600 NCoin). Additionally, they can extend that 3600 NCoin out too by selling Heine Coins/Boxes and buying more bait off the market.
So, I'm not saying this event is great but, a lot of people are really enjoying it. I think we should also acknowledge that the Dye Rewards are pretty sweet although it remains to be seen how sets will actually be made. Just my 2 1/2 Cents!

Ok, the table is fascinating, yet I don't understand, as to why make a table with levels under Lv85 when you have baits for Lv85+ ... though in the end, it's quite helpful, so grateful for it :)

You see the people who spend all their adena on leveling are making a huge mistake.(its not pre GOD where you can level and collect enough adena and materials to bring you to higher tier where the rewards are higher then the previous area)
I noticed rly 1 interresting trend - failing vets who say they don`t have any intention to compete nor to spend any resources but still sit in clans which compete(doesnt make sense) have r99 clean gear and vegetate by receiving lifts from other ppl refuse to buy passes etc - say its unnecessary.
If the people got used to subscription model and were paying monthly fee -so why the working person cant support the game by spending as example 50bucks/e a year. (Answer is simple - they dont want to spend a dime but want to have a 24/7 support to solve their god **** issues - since IR i checked if you pay 0 you get 0 not otherwise)
Not many can afford dark nor bloody - tbh it takes around 3 years normally playing the game- not abusing l2 store to gear up. (It was since day 1 l2 is based on grind - if you dont use L2 Store at all you will need to play alot more hardcore then the people who have access to it and the same model i did dailies i log off will bring nothing in the long term)
Of course it wont be end game gear - but will be sufficient to compete.
Im tired to see feohs with r99 +4 staff and +6 set in pve as example.
Why not r grade +10/12 b weapon and +4 set? Since last time i checked you`re not invited to grp to live long enough but to actually do enough dps to be considered helpful.

This event is made for those who have resources but lack time to play or the people who simply doesn't have any urge to bring support classes through instances and waste adena on adjusting the gear requirements as example iss or sos tank(neither of them are required to be geared if the function is only to be replacement buff)
This is the thing that annoys me the most.
Other than the "big" reward (anakim/lilith/7s energy) I've gotten at least 1 of every reward on the list EXCEPT an r99 blessing scroll and anything chapter 1. Not even talking about chapter 1 immortal scrolls, or masteries.
Not even a single normal chapter 1 codex.
Out of everything on the list I assumed those would at least be somewhat decent odds, but they seem to be more rare than almost anything else. I've heard of more people getting an anakim/lilith talisman than I have people getting a chapter 1 anything.

using xp bottles for duals helps to know how much xp it takes to get from 76 to 85
