I Play at Server Chronos, and there are 2 prime times in Chronos.
One is NA prime time when everybody finish their work/school and the other is EU prime time. Before the fishing event started, for 3-4 hrs during those 2 prime times, Chronos used to have lots and lots of Kartia, Kama, CC&Baylor party rooms almost None-stop, and AF party room every 10-15 minutes...
BUT NOW?
Almost dead...everyone has gone fishing now.
When I told people about this...they advised me to go fishing...LOL
I'm a fishing believer! I've sold all of my stuff, except for the really, really rare items to buy coupons. It's nice to go to work and return home to find my characters' percentages speeding up the XP bar quickly. My only complaint is that you can't also buy special XP runes to further boost the total XP earned per fish...with a cap on how many of those you can purchase and use per week.

Bah...I am seriously thinking about doing the same thing now. The responsibilities at work have increased for me, that I only get to play L2 like...3 days a week now...Days I work I am so busy at work, when I come home, just too tired to turn on the computer....LOL

Party rooms are still good on chronos during the busy hours but at the fringe hours it is a bit dead for now.
This event has been great for those of us who were pushing for 100/101 on mains and getting those 101 skills on iss.
Now I don't feel the sense of urgency about grinding and can more easily enjoy the game exploring ways to XP at a higher level with stacking the right buffs etc.
Plus all of the blessing scrolls/immortal scrolls from fishing have really helped catch up to at least a level of bare minimum with each skill being +10 minimum. As well as every single r and r95 set will be +6 and blessed means quicker k99 runs, more giants caves parties and a better prepared player base.
