Daylight Saving Ends - Events Time Change

News Archive Started Last reply 10 posts
Daylight Saving Time is set to end in North America (http://www.timeanddate.com/time/change/usa) Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 2:00am Pacific Time. After this time change, all activity times like Sieges, Olympiad, Ceremony of Chaos, Dimensional Raid, Daily Vitality, and Instance resets will begin one hour earlier (server time).

No downtime is required for this change. If there are any questions about this change, please feel free to post them here. We also encourage you to follow @L2andAionOps (twitter.com/L2andAionOps) for maintenance and server status updates.
Can you guys please fix the Dim Siege start times? It's changed like 5 times the past 3 months without announcement and it's kind of annoying that we have to wait an extra hour.
Yup, the whole deal with Dimensional stuff has become a major annoyance over time.
So.......
Judging by the wording, if sieges are at 20:00 server time, they will now be 19:00 server time?
(just an example)

But in 2 weeks it'll be 20:00 server time out of nowhere without announcement!

All of the in-game activities fixed to certain timers will still occur on their hard-coded times. (20:00 Sieges / 06:30 Daily Reset, etc) as the servers operate on UTC and we do not manually change the machine clocks during the bi-yearly time changes.

What is happening is that the outside world clocks are manually changed back 1-hour earlier.

Therefore you will only notice the changes between Standard Time and Daylight Time if you live in a county or state that actually participates in these time changes.

Playing this game for years I of course knew this, but I still think the main post sounds like you would change the time for ingame events. :o
Mostly cause the use of "(Server time)".
Ah right , didnt pay attention to "server time " :D in that case No ^^
