There are countless of kamael archers bots in every single spot till 85 areas, not sure about above that level.
It is not just a bot fest, it is a BOT FEST OF THE BOT FEST!
I am not really sure if there is someone from NC Soft that care at all about bots in this game, for me it seems there is NONE.
You must be a real fan of sado mazo to level a new toon in this server. And a nerves of steel...

What do you expect?95% of the adena in the game are from these bots.Most ppl "sell" ncoins for that same adena and think they play they game.Selling NCStore items makes you botter, you bot, you help the bots, period.The players of l2 , all of them are incapable of playing the game as it is.You answered yourself btw.

How about If your CC got a tauti ring and sold it for 15b adena you're not sure whether it came from bot or not, does it make you a botter too?
Yes, since basically all adena is botted, anybody who sells anything to another player is benefitting from bots, like everybody who owns an iPhone is benefitting from Chinese slave labor (http://www.bbc.com/news/business-30532463). Oh boy....For this, I'd like to take the personal responsibility. I am SO SORRY.
You see, I play 21 toons, with all my top level toons +10 skill enchanted, but have many other toons that I don't play much but still care. Just recently, I started to skill enchant them ALL...So, I've been buying skill enchants books from AH, about 800 superior codex and about 100 Mastery and also have been shouting things like "WTB 500 x superior giant's codex for 2B!!" at giran....We've had some low level bots before, but I think my world shouts really got bot masters thinking that there must be a huge demand for skill enchant books....I am so sorry for the recent rise of Low level bots in Chronos.
For you bot-masters out there! I want you to know it's just ME. and once I am done buying enough skill enchant books, you won't sell much after. So take it easy on botting plz~ LOL

I just made a run around the areas of:
Cruma Tower - Clean
Sea OF Spores - Clean
Forsaken Plains - infested(This area needs attention as it has 6 bots for each live player)
Wall of Argos - More live players then bots(Saw couple bots which were hunting solo)
Ketra Orc Outpost - 1 bot throughout the massive hunting grounds.
Varka Silenos Baracks - 1 bot throughout the massive hunting grounds.
Dragon Valey - 2 bots throughout the massive hunting grounds
Bloody Swampland- 1 semi train of bots
The bot issue is actual when its impossible to level for a low levels and to obtain quest items ( currently from my point of view its amazing how good its going, compared when i started couple years ago)
Hint - to level a 1-85lv char it takes 1 day.

You mean your 0 impact - cause of currently running fishing event.Majority of old players are making alts - new players are finishing thier duals and they need to get their skills up.
If you even noticed the price per codex now is lower then it was prior event and demand now is alot higher(common rewards is a codex).
When bots were running wild the price of codex was in all time low compared to oly rewards required. (Yes your impact is massive LOL)
I am not sure which server you're checked, but trust meh...is not Chronos.
Today everyfkinwhere I went through Kekr Q all spots were full to the max with bots. At one spot there were at least 2 bots.
Not really sure how much players as number Chronos have, but at least 50% of this number are bots. My bet is even higher than this %.

WoA is FULL with kamael archers bots and ertheias. Every of ertheia bot was with number 2 in the end of the bot name. I saw at least 20 like this. And kamael archers were 50+. Just in WoA.
As I leveled up and goin through Kekr Q this bot army followed me. I saw same bots over and over with me leveling.
Ketra is FULL with bots. Varka is FULL with bots. Sea of Spores got not that many bots but I guess cause its way faster to go through that part maybe you can not see that many bots in there, still they exist in there too.
Maybe Cruma is clean cause bots leveling 1-85 doesnt need to go in there for questing, did not checked that place.
Ah...almost forgot. DV is FULL with bots also...
I admit that from time to time there is a small window that not sure why bots are almost gone and you can not see them. And when you are thinking...oh, at least a little while w/o bots...and...VOILA...they appear with hundreds.
just made a run again. Yes there are some bots - as mentioned same places Forsaken Plains is a bot infested area. If you see 1 bot per huge hunting plot it doesnt mean much.
Currently L2 is free to play and after Helios Bot Population is in all time low compared how it was.
Is getting better - Im not saying its great but definitely alot better then it was before.
Your account creation date states 2010 so i don`t rly understand this Hyperbolyse except you had a trip in Core.
Compared to Freya(According to you signature) - Chronos is in a lot healthier state.
yes, I am aware Chronos is much healthier than Freya with more players and much bigger/better market. That is the reason why I decided to transfer to Chronos, so once again...there was no promotion at all for any server that I tried to made. The opposite :)
Never tried Core so far and for now got no plans to do it.
Just as info, in Freya if there are some bots in 1-85 areas, I barely saw any at all while leveling toons till 85 and I did 5-6 last month so that is why my reaction was like WOW...tons of bots in Chronos in these low level areas.
yes it`s a bit strange i thought that, the lower populated servers had more bots then Chronos(makes sense - less live players less competition for mobs=profit)
Before Helios - WOA had at least 300 bots for single hunting ground lol
5 Bot trains were hitting 1 mob on spawn - was hardcore to do the quest - now even the bots are providing pts lol
Currently majority of Chronos is still fishing - today is the official event finishing date. Some will fish even after.
Check the real population during Nano event - when the Server will come to life.

I create most of my own adena. I NPC recipes from K95, vorpal from Zaken, and Elcyum from fishing, billions worth per month. But I'm gay so I'm still going to hell. :mad:

Passion, no matter in which orientation, is of course something an enlightened person should not engage in (Kama Loka = World of Passion; you can see what kind of creatures roam in there). On the other hand, what with world population being 3 billion above the ecologically feasible number, any form of intercourse that does not lead to a pregnancy reduces the overall suffering on this planet by a tiny bit. I am sure that Lord Yama (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yama_(East_Asia)) will take this positively into account when judging your pros and cons :)
And I also create my own adena, mostly by doing the Mithril Mines run. That doesn't make me rich, but it pays for the shots, especially since I only play while I have Vitality :p

And you don't need to go out of towns to see that many bots are back. Just stand in Goddard or Heine and watch them autopath to the newbie manager and back out.
1-85 is like 1 day. i never see bots ever or RMT farmer, we control all raids/dragons etc on zaken. so the only "bots" would be the absolute scrubs in the low level areas. I personally dont care about bots, i played L2 in 2002-03+++ i know bots. its seemingly better now because the high level zones do not have bots. back in C2/C3+ all the high level areas had bot trains.
again it shouldnt take any time at all to get past that crap. even as a complete scrub when zaken server opened 1-99 took like 2-3 weeks max lol

Alligator island had a couple one wing bots the entire time I was running around there.
Outlaw forest and Sea of Spores had more but quests were still easy to complete as they were so few.
Forsaken plains is forsaken for many reasons.. That quest for the gear is just absurd at times. Fortunately for me it was very quiet when I went through but the bot trains were showing up as I left.
FoM had a few stragglers but nothing serious. I did sit a toon there to see if the foresaken bots ever showed up but I never saw them. I'm not sure where they are going after they get the Paulina's gear.
Swamp of screams was no problem either. I ran there for hours only seeing one bot run past (I was AOEing in the circles).
ketra orcs is usually vacant. You see more at varkas but even there it's a matter of time as one moment there's none then an hour later there's 10 running around. Probably because the kameals are sent to varka for the quests.
Dragon valley had a decent number of bots but you can easily find spots to grind away without being bothered. The entrance area and all the way at the back near the exit were the two infested areas.
The closest I got to your claims would be in foresaken plains when I was on the quest to kill the yintzu/kranrot/etc. That quest is without a doubt the worst quest to do as a real player leveling to 85 with the current bots. Several weeks ago there were times when the bots were so thick in FP that I would just setup a macro and equip a bow then go afk for an hour...
Other than FP I really didn't experience what you claim. So I'm curious about what your play times were. My life schedule is pretty wild so it's a possibility I might be online basically at any hour. I don't play often from 10am-1pm central daylight savings time though. Other than that my online time can be really random.

I was just now in Alligator Island doing Kekro Q, I spent like faking 30 minutes with a bow trying to compete with at least 20-30 or even more bots, just in that area.
1-85 might be in 2 hours BUT ONLY IF THERE IS NO BOTS TO COMPETE FOR QUEST MOBS! IS THAT CLEAR OR YOU LIKE TO PLAY STOOOOOPID?!?

If you want us to compete with bots in your game, what about changing the name to BOT COMPETITION instead?
Today I went on a tour and found a heavy load of one wingers in Alligator island. It's a massive difference from the last time I ran through there. Fortunately they were all concentrated in basically one area so it is still quite easy to get quests done.
Outlaw forest had a handful of one wing bots.
Sea of spores had few bots too
Forsaken plains as usual was a god forsaken place..
In FoM I saw about 3 toons that were probably bots (one obvious QUSJHSDFH name and two almost normal looking names). I even went up and checked the plateau and areas to the west well out of the usual botted areas. I really do wonder where the horde of FP bots go.
Swamp of screams had quite the collection of one wing bots near the entrance area. Run past that and you'll see maybe one or two bots. They clearly are sticking to the entrance area. Deeper in you'll have a bot run past occasionally following a set path. Fortunately there aren't many running those paths.
Ketra orcs had only players running around
Varka orcs had many bots running around most of which invited me when I rode past. There were plenty of mobs up though so questing shouldn't be too bad until one of the bot waves hits. I saw a melee character just following around the bot letting it do the quest for them.
DV is dv with all the bots in the same spot as I mentioned in my last post.
So it seems that there aren't many people actually running the bot trains as there are clear "waves" of them. If you're in front of or behind the wave you won't really see many bots. The vast majority of the bots also stick to specific areas which indicates they are running the same program/script setup. That means you as a player can almost always move a little bit and find a clear spot. You can also get in front of or behind the wave so as to experience an almost bot free game.
I know that isn't ideal but that's the best you can do to get around the current bot issues. At least it's not like in the past where there were no clear waves of bots and everything just had tons of bots 24/7.
The bots are there till they are being picked by auto removal.
Past the lowbie areas bots has 0 impact on the gameplay.
Still nothing major where you couldnt wark around.
I completely agree that NCWest is damaging thier own image by letting some bots roam as the first impression from a new returning player will have a negative outlook.
Agree is not optional - i leveled an evi after helios. Met majority of the bots in forsaken plains - still killed the mobs - other areas were very easy and had low population of bots.

Weird, but I started today level a new toon and I did not see a single bot so far in 1-85 areas, all clean, not even a sign of bot fest that it was not very long ago.
Not sure if there was some ban wave or maybe the bot owners are gone on a holiday, but the HELL it was now seems like a PARADISE!
When I thought we will have a little rest from them... just noticed 3 ertheia bots in Sea of Spores at one spot doing their quest...
