-why annoucement are not the same?
- What are the countries wich can not login anymore?
-How much time before the countries listed on the blocked countries list will get blocked definitively?
-How do you want that your customers trust you when you say a thing and his opposite?
-How do you hope that ppl with their country on the block list ,but still able to login, will continue to send you money?
-Do you really think that ppl can believe your last words "I mentioned in another thread before, but we are not planning to close L2 servers at all.
We also do not have any plans to block other countries that are not mentioned on the list." while the previous words are bull****s?

the sanctions placed by the US Department of State is actually mandatory for all companies dealing with the USA, no exceptions possible and breach of it's regulations has severe legal consequences - go google it if you don't fully understand what's that about.
the real tricky part is on the reasons for blocking those other countries as per my previous posts on this topic using contractual agreements with I N N O V A is complete bull and counter to the assurances the existing NCWest player base was given at the time the whole franchise stuff happened.
Sure NCWest will not stop provide L2 but by restricting/removing step by step the majority of their player base they can just as well shut down completely or start merger process for the 1 server that's going to be more then enough to sustain the few left over players.
By being vague about the real reasons as to why these other countries got blocked NCWest does not handle the situation well nor remove the current sentiment that sooner or later all of Europe will under go the same treatment as EU L2 (Core) has the same contractual agreements with NC as RU L2 aka pending on the truth behind the blockage Europe could still be next.
Note how NCWest has not clearly communicated that the current blockage list is final or answer any of the voiced concerns about potential future impact for all NON NA/LA NCWest players, in particularly for the existing NCWest European Player base whom have very valid reasons to be concerned here as explained above.

don't make me dig up the original thread where Nico "Cryo" Coutant said there wouldn't any of this at all for the existing player base when NC decided to franchise out their L2 license to I N N O V A..
fact remains that the blocked country list literary said it was cause of contractual agreements with I N N O V A until this whole forum drama started and they realized how they had opened Pandora's Box and modified their justification on the support link.

Meanwhile servers become like a desert and players start to realize not worth to spend money in a game that can close from tomorow :) Becouse today was ukraine ...tomorow can be your country too. Give me a break with "we dont have plans" coz 6 months ago,..not six but 1 month ago, you didnt have plans for uraikne. Those plans grow very fast in NcSoft mind :)).

dear juji and ncsoft ppl. we dont want ur event now or updates...please make serious and big post with full info...dont hide from emails and etc...we are not monkeys...we are normal ppl. on naia server 80% of players are russian/ukrainians or rus speaking!:)
One thing i don't understand is how can you have any contractual agreements with that other russian server? It is like, ok guys you can't play here you need to play there and other guys can't play there, they need to play here. You can compare it car market where all of the sudden Americans will be allowed to buy only Chryslers, Fords, etc.. and on the other hand Germans will be allowed to drive only Mercedes, VW, etc..

They said only residents of 50 states of blablabla can participate but in fact they dont check entries. the result was: all prizes went to ppl from Europe& Rus.....
So relax, its NcSoft style...they cut access only in words on website.

The sanctions relate to business-to-business relationships, and to some extent business-to-enduser relationships in specific categories.
In that respect, NC does not need to ban end-users from countries listed in the US export regulations. I have worked in a major US company (being non US that is), and it is by no means a requirement, that your international website blocks banned countries from both viewing and dealing with them.
If you as a business begins dealing on a business level, with companies on the banned list however, its a whole different story. So there is definetely something else behind this.
The main concern as a long time L2 player, that really liked this game, is that a truly beatifull and fun game, has become... well... something else altogether, where playing on equal ground is an illusion, and the player base gets continously divided and diminished... eventually to a point, where there really IS no point - to keep playing that is, unless one feels great about playing with one self.
Steam out - lets see what happens... if this game can ever be saved.
Ok look, that Blocking country is for event only NCWEST wasnt say its permanent, so calm down, on last big event, they disable toon creation for 2 week, this is same, but they limit it for specific Country.
