Maybe You know about something but not about DDOS :D and how Zeus or similar Botnets came across world :D If you still believe DDOS coming from 1 country, You believe in santa ;/
NC servers stressed with at least 2 - 4 TBPS where CloudFlare or other service cant manage ....
If You can Stop train with YOur hands... NC can stop such DDOS

Funniest fact is that I watched the http://l2.laby.fr/status/ while it was flashing red and green like an xmass tree, and noticed that 350 toons never logged out. And I was like... "Those dudes either have rly fast PCs and theyre desperate to play, OR they are bots that dont even use the game client. Logic in this question strikes you in the eyes like a flashlight in the dark lol. ;)

Such a strong DDOS attacks performs with botnet, which contains millions of devices (desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, IoT, etc) around the world.
DDOS DDOS... You guys just hear new word and start to use it everywhere.
If it would be a DDOS attack directly to NCwest servers - they would close servers for "unplanned maintenance".
For don't **** their server machines.
It more looks like an old cleaning woman knocked over a bucket of water in server room :D
Or issues with their ISP. Or issues with electricity at data center. Or issues at any node between users and servers.
It might be a lot of reasons.
