No Compensation for the 4 days of ddos attacks and we couldnt login or play? :(
I doubt It was a DDos attack, it was rather severs problems due to any change they did, I think they desible bot protection due the huge amount of bots we can see now where they used to be. Prolly dcs have to be with the anti bot system. I could be wrong tho. :o
why no compensation? and what about that wrong item list from event tha made ppl purchase a lot of ncoin to get event itens? scam? and what about the timed itens ppl got and couldn't use, like my 7 days antharas earing from clan box... I lost 4 days... and many other situations from other players.... shame on you!

Its not whining...its just like any other business.
You do things wrong(aka you dont take masures for players safety, you dont keep your promise - 99% server up) you need to pay compensation.
How things are working in Canada? For example: your car is broken...you go in service to fix it, you take back the car "repaired" and in 50 miles its broken again...What you do? Go home and hide under the bed? Or ask compensation and money back?

DDOS is incredibly hard to defend against. Even in the link you provided it is stated that there can still be some loss of service even with all the fancy defenses.
Compensation ???? I lost 2 Fancy Rods during DC's and 3 Exp Runes and more during DC's. A little compensation would be much appreciated!!!! I guess I could go back to W.O.W.
Stop complaining about people complaining about compensation.
If you lost something due to loss of service it should be compensated one way or another, just because you did not lose anything or do not find any value in the things you lost does not mean everyone else does.

I was unable to P. Lvl my char for over three days, not only did I lose the XP Rune but I also lost time, as I needed 3 extra days to get my tyrr to 99.
Time, the only reason I opened my XP rune in the first place. :o

"amazing hacking skills" pls dont make a fool of yourself.
The fact they only attacked the server during evening (EU time) makes it feel like they rented a bunch of botnets or "booters", as the attacks stopped every night/morning.
Anyone can do that, literally.
Stopping a DDoS attack on a game service is also harder than a website (where you simply put just buy the service, and change the DNS..), also paying big bucksfor a very secure DDoS protection does not really make much sense when you get attacked once a year or less.

The only thing that sometimes bothers me a little bit are all those destruction trolls and crybabies here on the forum, but I cant blame the game for it's ***ed up community.

Chronos is still full of bots tons of Kamael female archers that constantly spam party invite throughout all of the newbie areas, very annoying when trying to roll a new toon.
ddos only stopped as the rmt folks found a work around.. the bots are still around at their usual spots.. was easily noticeable on the return of server online stats which was down with more then 600 for Chronos alone for the short time it worked..
doesn't change the fact NC acknowledge the impact it had on the player base and that some kind of compensation will be forth coming so let's be patient and see how that goes first ;)
